This place is very close to our house which is great. They have some very stiff competition as we are from Texas and have... absolutely the best Mexican food you can eat. This place has great service and the food is ok. If you don't know great Mexicanfood you will probably love it. Read more
This place is a tried and true Johns Island staple - and I appreciate them more than ever since this hyped-up and... overpriced-but-shall-remain-nameless Mexican joint opened up on the island. It?s had its ups and downs, some nights not as goodas others, but last night got our typical steak fajitas for two and some other good stuff - and was super impressed by thedelivery time, portions, quality, temperature of the food, and general tastiness of the entire meal. First of all, my sombrero is off to our server Manuel. He made our "night out" a PERFECT one. He always appeared exactly when we... needed him. Our drinks were full and our plates were quick. When I tell you this was the best Mexican food I have had in a long time, this was the best Mexican food I've had in a long... time! I loved every bit of it and my friend wanted to lick the plate. This place is worth traveling to! Their salsa was so tasty with bit of spice but pleasing for all. Calamari came out looking... just like the photo and was perfectly cooked, not chewey!! Margaritas great! I have Maria's Fajitas and it was seasonedwonderfully. At our table, we also gave tacos and another fajita dish, loved them all. Lilly was our server and was sweet andattentive.
