We were absolutely stunned at how good everything was. My friend had the Penne Ala Vodka and the house made sauce and noodles... were so fresh and delicious. I had their "New Yorker" shaved steak sandwich. The bread was amazing. It is made every morning inhouse. The fresh mozzarella, vegetables and steak were absolutely top! I highly recommend this place and hope you get to to meetthe owners like I did. They were so nice and you can tell this is a multi generation operation by every detail. Our waitress wasalso awesome. Food was amazing, service was slow but very pleasant.
I would be remised if I did not talk about how great of an experience we had with our server, Isabel, tonight. She was perfectly... kind, charismatic, genuine, honest, and delightful. Their personal Pizza to go (12 inch) was OUTSTANDING! Very Italian style. I am Italian and From New York City and this is as... good as it gets! Was blown away by the crust and flavor. Great place! I knew as soon as I walked in and saw the decor and heard the old school Italian music that I grew up with that... this had to be owned by a real Italian. And sure enough it is.
