It was hard to find, we ended up passing it and almost passed it again on the way back - it doesn't stick out to see very well.... The parking lot was really big, there was ample parking and it was really pretty, so it was a nice walk to the restaurant. Theautomated recording said they were only accepting reservations, but when I tried they said they were all booked up until laterin the night but that I could walk in and it would be a first come first serve kind of service, which was nice that they hadseating right away. Our table was kind of small - high top and cramped between the wall and the bar which wouldn't have beenthat big of an issue but as I am 6 months pregnant it was hard to squeeze in. The menu was easy to read and our waitress wasreally nice and attentive. We had their bread and dip for an appetizer, I thought it was nice, my husband thought it was justokay. I ordered the lasagna and my husband ordered the bolognese with a side of meatball. We both thought the meatball was okay,I didn't necessarily loge the lasagna and my husband wasn't impressed with his dish so we switched considering I love his and heloved mine. We love Wild Olive! It’s one of our absolute favorite restaurants and never disappoints. The food, atmosphere and staff are... always wonderful! You haveeee to get the smashed fried potatoes, too.. you won’t regret it! I could eat those forever! Read more
Holy cow!!! Make reservations NOW! This is really one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. 6 stars wouldn't do it... justice. Drinks are amazing, food is some of the best I've ever had, desserts are phenomenal, service was second to none. I would eat here several times a month if I lived here. My family and I dined on a Thursday night in a secluded and well lit corner of a comfortable and tasteful dining area. The staff... were all professional, informed, and prompt. Appetizers, meals and dessert were all tastefully prepared. The ravioli and smashedpotatoes were favorites of the table. Great celebratory dinner spot while on vacation. Exquisite experience overall. Delicious!! While in Kiawah we stopped by Wild Olive for dinner & it was absolutely phenomenal. Living in NYC I have been... exposed to some fabulous Italian food & can confirm that Wild Olive was absolutely fantastic and far surpassed myexpectations. You can taste that everything is truly homemade & farm to table! Holly was our server and she was awesome, superpersonable & kind! She gave us great recommendations and we enjoyed every second! This was recommended to us by the Charleston Distilling Co. And it did not disappoint. We had the bread service and lobster... bisque both were a great start. The tagliatelle bolognese was pricey but tasty. It felt weird paying $25 for a plate of pasta onst John's island but I'd do it again. The calamari was a bit weird, it had a different fry on the breading and some sort ofgarlic on it that was not mentioned on the menu. Read more
Wow, talk about delicious! Everything we ordered was delicious- it was hard not to want to order one of everything on the menu.... The food was not only amazing but the service was also awesome. The service was impeccable — waitress was super friendly and attentive and the food came out so quickly. And the food is... always delicious! Highly recommend the calamari, Caesar salad, and the chicken parm! One of my favorite places to get dinner inthe Charleston area. Read more
