Such a pleasant experience all around! As the first lunch customers my husband and I were given a $20.00 gift card for our... return visit but we we would definitely go back without the endorsement! The hostess, waitress, and managers were extremelyfriendly and attentive from entering the establishment to getting the check. The food was equally if not even more amazing thanthe service, especially the Big Mac and Cheese Burger. Hands down best burger my husband and I have ever eaten. We also got thepulled pork nachos, onion rings, fries, and extra mac and cheese which were incredible themselves. The entire restaurant fromthe outdoor seating to the wood beams and lighting are just beautiful. We will be going back as soon as possible. First time here, and I’m so glad that this restaurant has come to JC! The staff were wonderful, the GM stopped by our table to... check on us, and the waitress was very friendly with our 9 month old ???? Burgers and fries were beyond excellent! Juicy, fullof flavor, and perfectly cooked. We were a bit disappointed with the loaded fries appetizers (potatoes were just toolarge/undercooked as a result), BUT the main course more than made up for it! The pièces de résistance, though, was the Oreocheesecake. The waitress presented all the dessert options as handmade every day by the owners, and WOW was it creamy, deliciousand not overly sweet! Tried Burger&Barrel tonight. A bit of a wait, but not too bad. Had the spinach and Parmesan dip - very good! I ordered their... grilled chicken sandwich, hubby ordered the black and blue burger. Both were okay, but nothing special. The chicken sandwich hada nice bun, two pieces of chicken (I took one off as it was hard to eat with two), lettuce, tomato and a sauce. Just no realflavor. Hubby’s burger came with a blue cheese sauce, but he said it wasn’t true blue cheese - had a funky taste. Both camewith fries, limp fries. I realize some people like soft, limp fries, we prefer crisp fries - so maybe that is just a preferenceissue. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice. I sat in one of their red chairs - the most uncomfortable chair Ihave ever sat in. ?? We would go back and sit outside with a drink and appetizers, but probably not for a meal. Read more
First time at B&B tonight now that the outdoor area was open. I\'d give the depot area a 10/10 atmosphere, I think it\'s the... best place to get good drinks and hangout. They have plenty of outdoor seating, firepits, and games while waiting (we had a 50minute wait that seemed like nothing). The drinks and selection were also great. I\'d rate the food 7/10. I enjoyed my BlueRidge Mountaineer Burger, but my fiancee\'s Mac n Cheese Burger was just ok, there was no sauce on it and the Mac n Cheese waspretty dry and flavorless. Fries and onion rings were good though and our waiter was super nice. Will be back more foratmosphere over food. Read more
We tried Burg’r & Barrel for the first time last night. The atmosphere was nice with that hometown gathering with friends... feel. We all opted for burgers & they were very good. Cooked well & presented well. The fries were ok. Our waitress was great. Ican’t remember her name but she said she was from Hawaii. I did think the burger was going to be a little more wow but it wasa great experience & we will definitely be back to try more. Read more
The service was great, and staff was very friendly! For a party of three, we had an appetizer, three adult beverages, and three... different types of burgers. We definitely recommend Southern Ties, Bacon Fest 1000, & Big G\'s Mac n Cheese. All delicious, butthe fries need some improvement. They were a little undercooked and unseasoned. I understand that this is a new restaurant, andwith that being said it takes time. Well worth the visit and plan to come again! Read more
It was my family’s first time trying this place out the other night, and we will certainly be back! It was quite busy inside,... but there is a bar and plenty of hangout space as you wait on your table. Our server Brandon was friendly and quick. We were aparty of six and received our appetizers and entrees right in time, and all were precisely how we ordered them. I had theclassic burger cooked medium and added a side of Mac n cheese. They serve it in a huge side dish, so you’ll definitely haveleftovers. It’s very rich and creamy — a strong contender for the best mac I’ve ever had!
