Went on a Sunday night. Was a little busy but nothing too abnormal. The wait time was very long as well. I was told 15 minutes... to be seated, waited 45 minutes and had to ask about the table before I was even sat. Food took a very long time to come out aswell and my waitress was not very pleasant or attentive. I haven't been to Cracker Barrel in a very long time and probably won'tbe returning. The food was decent but the side items were very small for how much they're charging. It was very unfortunateoverall. Read more

Always very crowded when I go but that's okay. The food is always okay. The little bottles for syrup are nice. I like collecting... them. Very southern food. I like playing checkers outside. The mimosas are good. Great place to go if you're on a road trip, Idon't know why. (: Read more

Very disappointed. Meal was cold. Cheese was tossed on "loaded" hashbrowns, wouldn't melt! Charged extra for grease pile! Sweet... n smoky chicken strips hard and dried out, couldn't bite into it! Husband ordered the pot pie and it tasted sour! Good service, nasty food! I guess we will stick to the pancakes! Read more

What is not to say about Cracker Barrel. Their food is always scrumptious and the homey atmosphere makes it such a warm and... inviting place to go. It doesn't matter whether you're by yourself or with the whole family it's just such a great place togo! They have exceptional pancakes and can be purchased by the box so you can try your luck at home; my only reservation isdon't forget to purchase their pure maple syrup as well! A great place to eat. We only wish they would build one in Kingsport onRt 11 West going toward Church Hill. Right now we have to travel over 1/2 hour to get there. Update: We went to Cracker Barrellast night for dinner and it was really busy. It took a very short time, maybe 15 minutes to be seated at around 6:30 pm butafter ordering it took a very long time to get our food; not typical. I usually order breakfast for dinner, but thought as achange I'd order a Chicken Pot Pie, I was wrong. For me, it didn't taste like I remembered but they did reimburse me for it Nexttime, and I will go back because their pancakes both regular & blueberry are so delicious, and add their individual warm bottlesof Maple Syrup! Um, well? I think it was an all ?round okay experience for a takeout meal. The Sawmill Gravy and biscuits still rocks and you... get a whole bunch so I can take some to work later! This sausage was kinda over cooked but the flavor was great. The big setbackis the casserole. My wife said they didn?t have it and offered her some ?tots.? ????What? I?m not 8 years old!???? That?s kindaa fast food thing no? She got me some grits! Heck yeah! But? they were like? water. Like I ran them over the strainer and therewere 3 tablespoons roughly. Sad. Yo, let?s step up our grits or have some casserole cooked up y?all! If I want tots, I?ll hit upSonic!???? Read more

Up until tonight I had never had a bad experience here. My husband and I ordered food for pick up. He said that his food was... really good. My food however was terrible. I order the Sampler Plate. My Meatloaf, Chicken and Dumplings were cold. My MashedPotatoes and Gravy was cold. The Mac and Cheese was cold. The Country Ham , Greenbeans, and biscuits were hot and delicious. Iwill not order carry out again but will definitely dine in again and hope for the best. Read more

I use to like the Cracker Barrel, but it has gone downhill tremendously. After it reopened after the pandemic, I've had nothing... but problems every time I've came back. Today did me in royaly! I came especially on Thursday because it's turkey & dressingday. So when I got there I was immediately seated. Then in a minute my waitress came and I told her what I wanted. So afterabout 15 minutes she brings my drink. 15 more minutes past and she finally brings me some cornbread. It was burnt and no biggerthan 1/2 inches in thickness. Hard and dry. So 15 more minutes goes by a guy brings my food. It looked fine. But then I saw itwas missing the dressing. My waitress was nowhere to be seen. I finally saw the guy who brought it to me and and flagged himdown and I told him I didn't get my dressing. He looked at me like I had two heads. "He said what? I repeated. "He said what'sthat pointing at my turkey. I said that". I said thats turkey with gravy on it. "Oh" he said. So he goes back to get mydressing. In the meantime I'm hungry so I take a bite of my pinto beans. They tasted like they came for a burnt pot. So as he'scoming back, I was going to tell him but when he came up and said " we're out of dressing". Why wasn't I told when I orderedit. So I told him I wasn't satisfied, and that I had problems here in the pass. Can it get my meal discounted since there's nodressing. He said " I don't think so". I ask why. He said I'll get a manager. 15 minutes later no manager. So I didn't eatanything but the bite of beans. I got up and left it sitting there. I will not go back there again!!! Read more
