9/27/2022Went for Breakfast, waited 8 minutes for one of the staff to finally seat us because the rest of the staff were... engaging each other in conversations and too busy to worry about customers (there was only one other customer in the restaurant)after setting there for an additional 9 minutes without being waited on, wife went to the kitchen to see if we were going to getservice there too she indicated the waiting staff were engaged in conversations ignoring the customers. After an additional 3minutes we left, the waiter looked at us as if we insulted him, but wished us a good day. My comments to him if they are toobusy to care for customers, they need to find a different business. We went to Waffle House and received immediate service andhad a great meal. Have not been here in a couple of years due to not enough help and cleanliness. Seems to have been modernized some and also... clean. Ordered the 2-2-2 for $5. A great deal for breakfast and perfectly cooked. Waitress was great. We also settled our billwith her, which was easier than going up front. We'll be back. Read more
Saturday, 9:45AM, party of 5, with time limit @ 1 hour. As expected, it was very busy. Surprisingly, the 1st of us to arrive... were seated immediately. Our waitress was very sweet and patient with us as we waited for the other two. While we were waitingwe explained to her the situation. Almost as soon as they were seated, she was there, ready to take our order and already toldthe kitchen it would need to be rushed. The food came quickly, correctly, and deliciously! Most of our party had pancakes- theywere said to be very good. I had biscuits and gravy. DYNOMITE! Literally, my only complaint, is about the menu. I really justwanted biscuits & gravy + bacon. But there is no a la cart (-ish) menu, and only 1 menu choice to get the biscuits & gravy.Therefore, i had to get way more food than I actually wanted, with no substitutions, AND a side -PLATTER: bis&gravy + 2 eggs +4 sausage + hash browns - SIDE: bacon Read more
While waiting for my meal, the waitress was mopping the floor. She was not wearing gloves. Set the mop down and came out with... my order. Asked her if she had perhaps washed her hands before bringing the food. Her response: "No honey, I was just moppingthe floor." (at least she was honest). She did offer to have a replacement made to order. Told her no thanks, just lost myappetite. Will contact corporate as well as the store manager. Read more
I took a huge craving for pancakes, and this place definitely helped myself to take care of that. We also had a great waitress... and I wish I would have eithier gotten or probably rather remembered her name. I do remember she was from New York tho.Everything was great! Read more
Makayla was amazing!! Prob 1 of the best waitresses around! Paid approx 50 for 3 ppl. A little high but visit was amazing.
Chelsea our server was excellent today! We got there 9am hour before church crowds and while sign on hostess stand stated "we... are short staffed thank you for your patience" we had no issues getting seated, etc. Kids loved special birthday breakfast andfood was all correct when it arrived! Our Server was Fantastic. Our Food, not so much. Cold Eggs, Cold Hash Browns, cold pancakes and Frozen Sausage links. The Coffee... was very good, My Country Fried Steak n Gravy was Hot and delicious. I Love IHOP but this was an off day for the Johnson CityLocation. Read more
