Gem in Iowa. 5 stars are not even enough. Atmosphere is fantastic. My server was on his first day of work and he did an amazing... job! They have a wide selection of wines. Name it prolly they have it. The manager is very attentive making sure she gets togreat every guest and opens the bottle of wine for them. Their Halibut is a must try. And don?t forget to get a slice of theircarrot cake. I swear the best ever. Trust me I?ve been to 9 different countries and multiple cities. I will definitely be aregular here. Read more
Just held a retirement party there. The food was wonderful. The staff was top notch and attentive. It made for a fun,... comfortable ambience. Friends and workmates still commenting about the great time. Mushrooms Boursin.....yum! Can not say thankyou enough to all. Read more

One of the better restaurants in Johnson. It's a mix of trying to appear classy but also pretty casual. Good for a date night or... business meeting. Highly recommend reservations ahead of time as it always seems busy. The food was pretty good. For appetizerwent with the Calamari. I decided to go with the Chef special which was Sliced Wagyu, it was delicious but slightly smallportion that left me wanting more. Also had the Three Cheese Pizza which I enjoyed. We had an amazing anniversary dinner last night! I felt incredible and my husband did a double take and stumbled over his words... when he saw me. (Anyone who knows Randy, knows this is very hard to do.) We had never been to Greenbriar before, but we wereTHOROUGHLY IMPRESSED! The food was amazing! Our server IMPECCABLE! Stacy was really able to understand our needs and prioritizeher tables accordingly! (She had a hand in a homecoming party of 12, a party of 9, 2 top, 4 top, 5 top, and us!) I have neverbeen treated so well in a restaurant, especially an upscale restaurant! I will always be back only to see her! I was mostimpressed with how Stacy was able to gage and read the needs of each table. She knew we needed little attention, the homecomingparty A LOT, the 2 top more than us, her regulars(the 4top) little attention and the 5 top would be good as long as they hadtheir bar drinks. She is a pure gem and deserves all the recognition! Thank you Stacy for making our anniversary dinner one toremember! You are amazing girl! The food was incredible. The appetizer of baked mushrooms was pretty standard 4 rating. I couldmake the same thing at home. The prime rib melted in your mouth with a healthy helping of horsey sauce and au jus. Service was off to a slow start, but rapidly staff noticed and did everything to fix it. It was especially meaningful since we... went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. It was just the two of us and we were so excited. They gave excellent service. Thefood overall was great, besides the smashed baby red potatoes. They tasted like oil and we couldn't eat them. Had a wonderful dinner here! Our server was very friendly and all our food was delicious! We got the coconut tempura shrimp for... our appetizer and it was delicious! Nice big shrimp and the pineapple salsa and the sweet Chilli sauce were so good! I got thenew york strip and my Fiancé got the cheese tortellini for our entrees and split a chocolate torte for dessert. Everythingtasted amazing and the atmosphere was excellent!
