Food is ok but entrees don?t come with rice. I just spent 70 bucks and have egg foo young and Mongolian chicken with no rice.... What Chinese restaurant doesn?t serve white rice with their food. Complete BS, now I need to go to the grocery store if I wantto eat my food that was just delivered for dinner. Will never order from here again. Read more

Stopped in to pick up takeout with a friend. While we waited, I had a sake at the bar. Talked with people next to me and had a... great time. Food was ready quickly and prices were great! We brought back the food and it was amazing. Can't wait to try itagain! We bought food for 8 people and the price was amazing. Read more

What was good ...the service always and the salt and pepper shrimp (shell on). When it first reopened I didn't like the food... then it got really good we spoke to the owner and he said his old cooks were back.. well apparently they left again or it's adifferent cook on a Monday tom yum soup was the best in the state ..so Bland today it was awful and I found a piece of bone init not sure where from.... ugh! the waitress did nothing we paid for everything.. the fried rice was terrible dry overcookedand tasteless the beef looked and tasted old.. we ordered the Thai chicken wings( 6 pieces is three Wings compared to fivewings is 10 pieces at red rice) to go no jalapenos no scallions so dry and tough. It's sad because we really enjoyed it here but money is tight and I will spend it at red rice or Asia Grill the food is far better and fresh!!!! Read more

Don?t let the nice interior fool you? the food is horrible and portion sizes are tiny. Before this rating, we?d ordered takeout... here twice: first for Sushi, second for Chinese. The sushi rolls are laughably small. I had to take a picture because they wereonly about as thick as a quarter, and they were poorly rolled and fell apart when you picked them up. However, since the firsttime we ordered was during a holiday, we figured we?d give them the benefit of the doubt and try their Chinese. It was worse. The chicken and broccoli tasted old and strongly of burnt garlic. If you order the dinner special, more than half the containerwill be filled with ?pork fried rice? and you?ll get about a cup-sized portion of the actual dinner order. The ?pork fried rice?tastes old and off, and has gray mystery meat in it. We couldn?t eat it and threw it out. The ?General Tso?s Shrimp? was? justweird. Read more

The sashimi was super fresh and delicious. It came with Miso soup and I got a side of sushi rice. Also ordered Shrimp shumai and... it was excellent. My server was really attentive and sweet. I'll definitely return. Read more

Recently reopened and remodeled, Hei Place is back in business offering fresh, delicious Asian cuisine. The vegetarian nime... chow (fresh spring rolls with rice paper wrappers served with peanut dipping sauce) and scallion pancakes (served with a lightsoy sauce) are excellent appetizers, with a well balanced mix of flavors. The Vegetables with Hot Basil (Thai Style) is a veryflavorful entree, which was hot and spicy as requested. I recommend ordering a side of steamed rice with this dish, as well asa side of hot chili paste if you like extra hot and spicy. Friendly waitress. Comfortable seating, although the tables are alittle more comfortable than the booths in my opinion. Will return soon. Read more
