FRAUDULENTLY CHARGED!! For the SECOND TIME at FRIENDLY'S!! My bill was $21.02. My tip was $5. Total amount $26.02. They charged... my card $26.02 and then charged my card ANOTHER $5! The food was gross. Mine and my son's orders were wrong Both on our MEALSand the DESSERT! THIS HAD HAPPENED TO US THE LAST TIME I HAD GONE THERE ABOUT SIX MONTHS AGO TOO. Will not go back here! I already filled out a website review but wanted to make a public one. This place smells like a dirty old folks home. The aroma... inside is horrendous. In the 1 minute we waited for the hostess to come over to us, we decided to go somewhere else. There werequite a few tables and none of them had their food. Easily an hour wait, just like the last time we went, and it wasn't asbusy. I'm honestly tempted to call the health department because one step in this place and you can tell it's disgusting. Eventhe carpets are visibly filthy. I really wish there were more decent establishments in Johnstown. An affordable chain restaurantcould do really well, but not in this condition. Read more
I realize most places are short staffed. But when two staff people can SEE people by the waiting to be seated sign, they could... at least acknowledge them. The food was just "ok". The ice cream going by looked a lot better. Read more
I went in on a Saturday night waited anout 5 minutes to be seated. I love friendlys food but this location I don't recommend at... all if you're not white. I came in with my kids and when we were seated at took them about 10 to 15 minutes to wait on us. Inoticed a couple came in and another 2 people were seated rather quickly. They also were waited on rather quickly and had gottenthey're drinks even quicker. We asked for waters so I found it pretty funny that we couldn't get dealt with in a timely mannerbut the other 2 sets of people were (they were white so...) I'm not making this about race but that is what this location madeit about I waited about another 10nto 15 minutes and I got really uncomfortable because there was a white group of people in thefront who had not stopped laughing since we walked in so we left. My kids and I love the food but it wasn't worth it. Idefinitely recommend any other location beside this one. Please Johnstown teach your workers to be courteous and kind to ALLcustomers not only the ones that look like you. I came in with my sister so she saw everything and was not pleased as well. First let me explain - the food was actually over 4* probably the best food I've ever had at a Friendly's! The short ribs dish... was fabulous - tender and good flavor. The Cobb salad was delicious with beautiful lettuce - no wilty or browned pieces. Alittle expensive for what you get, but worth it for a good salad. The chicken fingers were tasty, but as I've mentioned before,if you manage to mess up chicken fingers we *really* need to talk about what you're doing with your life. The mozzarella stickswere a bit bland, but they were still good - crisp exterior with melty cheese inside. As for why I gave the restaurant a 3 starrating - the service was at best a 2. I am generally very supportive of busy staff who are trying their best, but we came inafter the lunch rush (1pm arrival). It took an hour and forty five minutes for lunch and ice cream (2 adults and 3 kids). It'sa bit excessive. Also, our drinks were never filled and nobody even offered to fill them. We almost never even saw the personwaiting on us so we couldn't even ask. They said they would bring us a box, never brought the box so we left the food wecouldn't finish there. I settled on 3 stars because the food was delicious, but the service was rather lacking. Read more

Food was gross and served cold. Waitress was nice and took 10 percent off but I'll never eat there for breakfast again. They... don't use real eggs too make scrambled eggs. You can tell they use the ones in the carton. It was all just bad Read more
