Stewart?s needs to seriously re-evaluate the talent pool from which they select their staff. I cannot count how many times we... have gone their only to be treated with the uttermost disrespect and customer disservice every rendered. Their employees areliterally the most miserable people on planet earth and make the staff at the DMV look like angels. If I was corporate I woulddefinitely send a undercover shopper to store #224 in Johnstown New York because 90% of the individuals their either need aserious attitude adjustment or perhaps should be only staff to the warehouse where no ever has to deal with their outrageouslyhorrible customer service. We have called and complained to Corporate before with no results . So beware if you want a horribleday and to be treated like garbage stop here, you won?t be disappointed. Read more
I want to take a moment to recognized the gentleman (I believe the manager on duty) working at the Johnstown Main Street shop... today. He had exceptional customer service which is extremely hard to find these days! I will continue to favor this Stewart?sin my area because of him! Read more
It's a great place to get ice cream. It's very close and they have an ATM. They have many other products such as soda and sports... drink. They also sell bread and it's low priced. Overall, this is a very great shop and a good place to hang out with friends. Read more
Our cashier was training, ok no big deal. Use food stamps, buying all food, and we are told we owe $4.00. Having just checked... the balance, I know there's more than enough left to cover what I owe and I tell the cashier that it should all be covered.Cashier says nothing in response. Finally a manager comes over and prompty tells us, "you owe us $4.00!" I tell her I know butthere's enough money on the card to cover it all. Manager looks at the computer and says, "apparently not, this is telling usyou don't." Okay, I'll pay it. But I still don't know what happened. The manager then explained the math to me. It ended upbeing our bad which we realized later on in the car, but my point is that this manager did nothing to resolve the situation,didn't even bother to try and figure out what happened and was simply rude. Very slow to tend to customers, can have a line out the door at one register while the extra employees just do menial work,... instead of stopping, tending to the line of people and then going back to there duties. Another issue I have to say is aproblem, I stop in every morning for coffee, and find that one of the employees on most mornings is right out rude, alwaysgiving dirty looks if she is asked to get cigarettes away from the register she is at. Great prices for gas, has lots of snacks, milk and ice cream
It's awesome me and my friends do there at 11:00 and stay till it closes and we have fun
