Overall an average place. Has a 1950s dinner feel to it. Waiters are ok never had an issue with anybody. But food is average... tasting. And smaller portions. Has a lottery machine which is cool to get a ticket or two while waiting for your food. Butotherwise a normal dinner. Read more

You could cook at home but there's days we all need a break. The next best thing...is Corner Coffee Shop. Home cooked... flavorful meals for a couple bucks, served by the friendliest group of folks you could ever meet and served in a cozyatmosphere. Looking for a place to grab a bite to eat, maybe me a friend for a chat....look no further....Corner Coffee Shop isthe place. Locally owned business to boot. Read more

I read one review how good it was but it wasn't for us. Husband got an omelette and home fries. I had a Belgian waffle and home... fries with eggs. Mine was cold the butter wouldn't melt the eggs were cold and the home fries were not cooked enough. Wouldnever stop back there. Read more

We stop there to get breakfast. The best waitress by far is Nene I believe her name is. I order corned beef hash topped with... grits and cheese. It is terrific with hot sauce. Nene makes sure the order is perfect each time. They should add that to themenu. Read more

The food was great, the service was awesome but I can't say enough about the owner, John, who helped my mom and I when our car... wouldn't start after enjoying breakfast. He went above and beyond to help but we ended up needing a tow to the Goodyear shopJohn recommended. Can you believe the car started right up for Steve and Dave? There was nothing to fix and the rest of my tripwas a success. Thanks John! For being a genuinely good human. It's much appreciated ???? Read more

My husband and I always go for breakfast Sunday morning after church. We have eaten at the corner coffee shop several other... times. Today we stopped and had a awesome server and we placed our order. We both commented on how long it was taking for notbeing busy. When we got our food we just looked at it. I ordered eggs over easy and home fries. My husband ordered breakfastburrito and home fries. His was crispy and over cooked potatoes and my eggs were brown and crispy ( not over easy ) and crispypotatoes. We both like well done potatoes but couldn't eat most of them. They comped my meal but it was so disappointing. Sheoffered to get me new eggs but I do not send food back. Our server was the only good thing about our visit today. Read more

The staff should get 5 stars but the rest of it? negative. Came here to eat on vacation and wish we?d gone to chilis... instead. 1. It was boiling hot in there. One of the staff told me it?s because the owner yelled at them to keep it 72 degrees.Which it is not. It was cooler outside at 84 than inside. The workers were sweating visibly and very exhausted but still sokind. The owner should be ashamed of himself! He doesn?t work in there- so he shouldn?t get a say. Not to mention the foodbornepathogens that grow in that kind of heat. 2. My mom was served a chicken sandwich that had a half green tomato and the chips Ihad were so salty they were inedible. My husbands tossed salad was pathetic and tiny at a high price! The breast was wellseasoned on my moms sandwich and cooked well and my wrap was mediocre. The lack of quality is not due to the kitchen staff. Dueto the ingredients they were forced to use. 3. There is no kids menu! The menu doesn?t tell you exactly what is on the sandwichor wrap. 4. The bathrooms were dirty and in disrepair. If you want to charge insanely high prices at least provide a goodexperience. Read more

We ate there during Thunder in the Valley 2022. It was super busy. After being seated our waitress, Holly, quickly got our drink... orders followed by our food orders. My husband had a normal breakfast of eggs, toast and sausage. I had their lobster bisquesoup and a side salad. He said his breakfast was good. My lobster bisque soup was delicious, although I would like to have foundsome chunks of lobster in it. But it came out creamy and very hot which is how I like my soup. The salad was a normal side saladwith just iceberg lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers. We were each brought a pot of coffee because I was drinking decaf and he hadregular. That works out well in a restaurant that is as busy as they were because you do not have to wait for coffee. To sum itup once we were seated the order was taken quickly, the food came fast, we had a good service from Holly; everything was goodincluding the price! We would return again. Read more
