Not sure on all the good ratings people gave for Loco.. ours visit was not good. With less than 6 customers that day food took... 40min to table. Chips served were stake. Enchiladas felt just wrapped tortilla , Rice was uncooked and hard as though leftoverfrom fridge microwaved too long. This place is GREAT! The Atmosphere is chill and very welcoming. We come here a few times a month to enjoy and relax. The... Burritos are Delish with a homemade side of Red Sauce(????)request it....Hubby loves the Green which is also very good. Varietyof dinners to choose from with a complimentary cup of soup, Yummy. Also, Great Specials and Fabulous Margaritas! Our waitress isalways polite and pleasant wonderful service. First time customers last night. What a great time we had. We went for $5 giant burritos and boy did they not disappoint. ... Steak, chicken, and Pastor were all amazing. They keep you loaded up on chips and salsa as well as serve you a deliciouscomplementary soup. We also ordered elote which was very tasty. The margaritas were equally as good. The staff was superfriendly. It was a cool mexican cowboy type vibe. We will definitely be back to try more dishes. Read more

Good isn't to bad, soup is great. Staff is friendly but a little disorganized. They forget to bring stuff or three people bring... they same thing cause they don't communicate. It's always an adventure here. You can also order fries with tacos so I guess thatmakes up for a lot! Read more

Glad I found this place. I moved from Chicago to Joliet and haven't found a good Authentic Mexican restaurant till now. Been... wanting a Tampiqueña for a long time, found this place and they had it there. When I tell you it does NOT disappoint you, man,their dishes are phenomenal. Tampiqueña is so darn good!!! If you like chorizo, their Chorizo enchiladas are amazing too! Their"Molcajete" dish is the bomb as well. But their Mango frozen Margaritas are ????, AMAZING! We got the large one and it was waymore than enough for 1 person. Kids ordered chicken nuggets and another one ordered a Carne asada taco and they were both happywith their food. They give you a complimentary soup with your dish order and it's so darn good. Been going at least once a weekand never disappoints. We've been having a waitress named Ana and she is wonderful. Very nice personality and recommended usgreat dishes all the time. Love her energy. She makes us feel super comfortable. We will continue to go back. Definitelyrecommend this place.
