Great food , huge amount of fries. Very quick service great place to stop at.

Pretty crowded as it should be for a truck stop. Service was good it took about 10 min or so to get the food. Food was good... fries could've been cooked a lil more. Prices are decent for the quanity. Read more

I?m a native Chicagoan that has sadly moved away ????. I?ve finally started driving for a company that will get me into the area... and I always stop at Pops when I come through. Maaaan, when I say I finally fell in love with the Italian beef sandwich!! I never really cared for this sandwich in the past... because the gravy dip was always bland but I ordered the Italian beef with mozzarella cheese and sweet peppers and onions withthe gravy on the side (if you?re a slow eater like me, you?d probably want to dip it as you eat so it won?t get too soggy).Anyway, the gravy is soooooo good and well seasoned and a lil spicy which give it the right amount of kick and the bread is sosoft and meat is so tender , so when you dip it!! No wait for me to order my food.fast service.first thing I checked was the fry freshness.. perfect. Got back to my truck and... took these pictures. The peppers and onions were done just right. The beef was cooked with the cheese and onion pepper withperfection. Only two negative things to mention, the price for the combo is a smidge high and if less oil was used I would havegiven 5 stars. Well a good amount of meat but its dry, my bread is soggy and my cheese is cold and not melted like the picture advertised.... Wouldn't recommend it. The wrapper was soaked before i unwrapped it. I think its from the greenchillies which was also cold. Read more
