Though the food is good the service could use some help. Wasn?t told about the drink I inquired about and then it cost 13$ for a... ?seltzer? type cold sake. I prefer hot and not bubbly, had it open before I could say anything- had to pay for it. Bento boxvery filling. 50$ for 1 person was a bit over the top I think. Read more

This was fantastic and I'm really picky about my sushi! I also got the chicken teriyaki as well and it was pretty good. Miso... could have used less tofu, but it was pretty good too. Would definitely recommend! Read more

Definitely the best sushi in town! They?ve been around since I was a kid, what seems like 25-30 years ago. Before the whole... sushi craze really made it to the Midwest like it is now, Sushi Ya has been there. I ordered Crazy salmon, spicy tuna hand roll and two ikura ( salmon eggs). It was phenomenal! The presentation is beautiful and... taste of it even better. Hostess was very sweet and helpful. The owner was very nice and funny. Everyone there was very busybecause they are understaffed. However, this did not change the fact that food came as ordered and I did not wait long. Somepeople have to understand that for the good quality food you have to wait otherwise go to McDonald?s????. I am definitely goingto be back! Read more
Took my beautiful wife to dinner at Sushi Ya. We shared the Hibachi steak, scallops and shrimp dinner. Had a wonderful time.... Everything was absolutely delicious. Sushi Ya has a great atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Read more
