First-time visitor. I walked in, I was not greeted. I had to look over the menu since it was my first time. I let the clerk know... that. She said it was fine. I ordered a sunrise breakfast bagel sandwich with chili and a d rink. As I waited, otherscame inafter me and they greeted on the way in and out. However, clerk did ask me if I wanted mayo or cheese on my sandwich and I saidyes. I saw that it was extra on the receipt. That is not a big deal but when it's my first time visiting a business you like toknow how they operate. I liked the decor and bagels. So many cream cheeses to chose from. The food, bagels, and cream cheese all are great. But the customer service there is not very good. When a customer comes in your... store especially being that I was a new customer, you should be greeting people with smiles, not looking like your going to afuneral. Love the Great American Bagel! A very nice little bagel shop. A large selection of bagels. A large assortment of cream cheeses -... you didn't know you'd love. Quick note ... last time I was there the cream cheese I wanted wasn't in their fridge. The ownerwent in the back and packed some fresh for me. To me, that says something about a business owner. I used to go more frequently to have a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, but got a slimy looking pink piece of sausage. I... decided to give it a shot again today. The sausage was better, but definitely not the same. The texture is mushy. I loved theprevious sausage that had that slight kick to it. It felt and tasted like real sausage. Read more
This location does not hold a candle to the one in Westmont. They are super stingy here when it comes to sandwich ingredients,... even when you ask for extra and are willing to pay for it....the sandwiches are not cheap to begin with either btw. Tried it for the first time today. I had the cinnamon bagel, it was big and delicious. They have a large cream cheese selection... but went with the plain and was yummy. Looking forward to trying more items off the menu. Read more
