Was as to be expected from a checkers/rallys. Even with all the inflation from other places this place is still reasonable and... has some good deals. Their ice cream cones are only $1. Just came through the drive through (1120am). My twin and I made an order. We left something off on accident and tried to add it... at the window. Miranda (that's what she said her name was anyway), clearly looked distraught. I asked if I could add to my ordershe said no unless I was adding pies. She said they were too busy and people where waiting outside. Immediately we feltsomething was off.. our choices were to leave without our order or take it as is. We drove around and there was no one outside.Two cars pulled up as we were leaving. We didn't even have the option to make a new order... I eat here and the time... this wasvery uncomfortable. Only good thing was the fries from this place. Food was nasty and maybe I wouldn't even say anything about the food because I... understand that not everyone has the same taste buds but the service here was horrible so I'm saying something about the foodtoo. Poor customer service. The girl who was taking my order (white, shorthaired, petite girl at checkers on red wolf) had a really... bad teenager attitude, very unpleasant, unprofessional and rude. She even ended up throwing me my credit card and acted like itwas an accident. This was my number one place for fast food but now I won?t be doing any business there. So sad that these kindof people have to ruin all the good places just because they don?t want to do the job they applied and are getting paid for.Such a shame! Read more
I was in Jonesboro, my daughter was in the hospital. I was headed home and my granddaughter suggested we eat at Checkers, the... food was great. Love the fries for sure. That was Thursday the 15th. I stopped again today after I picked up my daughter fromthe hospital and got the chicken box, the number 9. It was awesome and the tea is great too. I'm glad my granddaughter suggestedit. The food here is really fresh. The quality ingredients they use is top tier. This was only my second time eating here, but it... definitely confirmed how I felt the first time. I enjoyed every aspect of this place. The food was prepared quickly, to ourliking (without onion), was hot, mostly presentable ( tiny bit of ketchup came out the side) and the chicken sandwich was abreaded perfection of real non-separated meat. The French fries definitely deserve an extra large option of it's ownnomenclature, as they are just what I would expect out of seasoned fries. Crispy, tasteful, and not too oily or dry; justright. If you haven't ever been to a checkers, I highly suggest going and getting one of their chicken sandwiches to startwith, and branch out from there. On this review is the big Buford, which is also really really good burger. Just to put theicing on the cake, the coke I ordered was perfection. Right amount of ice, right amount of sweetness and carbonation. I justwish I had ordered a larger size. Read more
