This place is doing business under the guise of providing quality food at an unreasonable price. Purchased their premier... chicken sandwich for $12 that you could get for $1.99 at Rally's. Made the mistake of buying 1/2 Greek Salad and paying $8 forit. All that to be able to say "...I sat in Panera Bread and had lunch...? Would have been better off to go to Wendy's or BK. This is one of the better fast casual chains, in my opinion. They have nice selections for all meals or snacks. If you have... sensitivities or allergies they take great care in not cross contaminating your food. The pastries, sandwiches, and soups areall good. They even have some pre-boxed pastries available for purchase in the store. They offer a drive-thru, curbside, andin-store pickup. Overall, not a bad spot for a quick bite to eat. There's been once, maybe twice since i began going here 2 months ago that I've had a friendly experience with an employee. The... younger employees I've been assisted by, are kind of rude, or seem as each time they don't want to be there. When I order asweet tea it's almost always barely sweet. Once, I ordered my son some sort of Cinnamon Crunch drink; it was supposed to becold, it wasn't, I tried it before I left the building, it was horrible!! I tried fixing it myself with the items in diningarea, but there was no hope from the start. I didn't say anything, because when I'd did an order at the window the employee wasover it I could tell, it was nearing the end of the night, and I just didn't want an attitude given to me once again. This was my first and last time eating at Panera. It's just not for me. The menu is very limited, even with drinks. They didn't... even have sweet tea. I tried some sort of lemonade but it was terrible and I couldn't drink it. I ended up getting a salad witheither chicken or turkey but they didn't use or give enough dressing and the meat was cold and tasteless. My husband got agrilled chicken sandwich and he said it was OK. They really don't offer any sides that go with anything else. I guess Panera isgreat for people who just want a sandwich but if you are really hungry, go somewhere else. If you are looking for comfort food,you won't find it here. I ordered through Panera for Delievery which goes through door dash. Never had an issue before but today my order never came and... when I tired contacting Door Dash they said they had cancelled my order but didn?t specify why. When I got to the Panera storethe manager on Duty (Josh) was absolutely amazing he fixed the issue and got me my food! TL;DR I'm not a fan of the food at Panera, but it was made quick and the service was impressively friendly and professional. I... had the Roasted Turkey BLT. Wasn't bad but not to my taste. Turkey was perfectly moist, tomato was ripe: an overall high qualitysandwich. My wife had the Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice soup. I liked it even better than my sandwich and I recommend it. I'mdisappointed in the lack of a Reuben or potato soup on the menu, but what they had was good. The service was amazing. It tookus a minute to decide what to get and I felt like they were aware and not rushing us. When we were ready, they jumped up to theregister to take the order. I ordered via the Panera App today. The staff was wonderful at customizing my order; however, this is what I got in one of my... salad dressings. Seeing this gave me a gut to finish my meal. Hopefully, it won't happen again since they usually check theirorders before make it available to pick up (based on the Panera App), and this place is my favorite restaurant in town. Read more
5:30 in the afternoon. Out of soup, out of bagels, out of BREAD! A sandwich shop with no bread at 5:30 in the afternoon. They... were out of every single thing we tried to order.
