Went for the first time with 2 of my coworkers and the meal was delicious. I got the crawdad & shrimp meal #6 and the amount of... food was perfect for a lunch. The crawdads were very flavorful & a great size and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I'd likemore seasoning in the potatoes and corn, I really don't think the corn and potatoes are boiled in the pot with the seafood asthey were kind of bland. Other than that, I'd go again. Price was about 20 dollars for my meal and the amount of food made itworth the price. Read more

Pier 88 has the best quality seafood I've had. Their lobster is better (and less expensive) than Red Lobster; their snow crab... legs are always delightful, and their shrimp are excellent, as well. This is one of my favorite places to eat, and I won't goanywhere else in town for seafood. I can't say enough good things about them. Read more

Food was good overall but the menu was a little misleading. I ordered the 1lb boiled shrimp w/o heads. Shrimp was very good. The... menu said it was served with corn on the cob and potatoes ( small boiled potatoes). Well it was, I got 1 small half ear of cornand 1 boiled potato. Also, the hush puppies were good but very small so order 2 sets if you're feeding more than 2 people. Samegoes for the onion rings, good taste but small portions. Friendly wait staff. Read more

Our server, Tanner, was fantastic! The four pieces of catfish had a muddy taste. The Country Boil came with one potato, one corn... and one egg. It had a decent flavor. The little hushpuppies have corn in them. They were served with a sauce. They were good. When I asked to take my leftover tea with me, I was informed that there were no to go cups. Read more

Overall, not a bad place to get seafood in a landlocked state. It is the typical "boil" style restaurants that seem to be... popping up everywhere in the south these days, not that there is anything wrong with that. It's in the same building as the oldOn the Border restaurant and it doesn't look like they changed the layout much from that eatery. They did apply for a liquorlicense but as of 9/17/2021, it was still pending approval (hopefully they get it). The inside was interesting and the waitstaff was very friendly. The table I was at ordered calamari and oysters on the half shell for appetizers and they weren't badat all although I prefer the tentacles when eating calamari and those weren't included. I liked that the menu had lunch optionsavailable during certain hours Monday through Friday and that is what I selected, the 3/4 pound headless shrimp lunch withpotatoes and corn. I got the 88 seasoning and medium heat which wasn't very hot so I'll go hot next time. The boil was goodthough and enough for me. Bibs, gloves, and wet wipes were provided to allow you to be tidy and clean up. Not a bad place toeat at all and since they are new I expect them to even improve. Compared to some of the other places in town that offersimilar dining experiences, it is great. Read more

So first the service, when we arrived we were of course asked the usual question, booth or table. My girlfriend and I always... want a booth, just our preference. The hostess told us it would be a minute to clear one, none of the booths had anything onthem. Ok, still not a reason for a 2 star, but I’ll get to that. Ordered the pier 88 seasoning and medium. Food came outbland. The water was literally separating from the color from the seasoning. It was like the steamed the food in water thenpoured over some seasoned water because they forgot. The waitress threw the plates down and the bucket and said there’s somestuff in there. She walked away never to return and we asked someone for her. It would still be another 10 minutes before shecame. When she did, I asked for the ticket. This picture is what she saw. I ate one piece of crawfish from my plate, it wasdisgustingly bland except for the strange after taste which did not taste like the seasoning mix. Ate the shrimp, it was bland, but I like could at least eat it and not feel like I was going to vomit. My girlfriend couldn’t eat the shrimp or sausage sheordered. Again bland on both. No flavor. Sausage cold. We won’t be back. It’s their first few weeks of opening. It was an$80 let down and looking at the bill, not sure how it was $80 as the prices didn’t add up. However, after waiting another 15minutes with our debit card and our waitress sitting down in a booth on the opposite side of the building, we got up left cashand walked out. Horrible place. Read more
