Finns for Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding Cake: My husband and I selected Finns for our rehearsal dinner after having an enjoyable... lunch while in town. The service was great and we asked about the cake selection and were brought mini cupcakes to try. Wescheduled a tasting, and they accommodated our parents and let us try small cakes. The pricing of the cakes were fair, and Icannot recommend more highly a place to have make cakes for any occasion. Everyone raved about our wedding cakes. Finns alsoworked around our large party of 30, complete with a pre-selected menu and pricing, and made the evening with friends and familythe day before our wedding absolutely wonderful. We come down for lunch at times, and Finn?s will always hold a special placein our hearts! Read more
Pretty good... not great. Good choice of appetizers; spinach and artichoke dip was great. They had a dozen varied choices... ranging from jalapeno cheese curds to toasted ravioli. I want to give this place a fair shot and say it was just a very bad night for the kitchen. The server I had was so sweet and... accommodating. The manager, who had to visit my table on numerous occasions was kind, apologetic and very accommodating. I didnot take pictures of everything, but will offer those I did. I started off by ordering their $22 pork chop option. It did notlook like pork chops?. Not sure where the grill marks on one of them came from, but we?re present on only one. They seemedboiled and looked like mystery meat and were replaced by the fried option which were raw and definitely pink when served. I thenwent for the crab and shrimp dip just so I could attempt to eat something?. Which was served as a dish of grease?. Shrimp orcrab are not greasy meats?. The cheese used needs to be majorly reconsidered?.Everything was comped, including all the jack?s onthe rocks I drank? there were many! It was my Birthday and I was out of town working and trying to have a nice dinner. I wasgiven a free cupcake, which I consumed later? it was great! Lemon! Anyway, sorry to the server (first night on the floor, poorgirl) and the manager who handled this debacle awesomely! I have to try to give a fair review though. I don?t have enough words to explain how much we love this restaurant. Not only is their menu on point but their cheese is... amazing thanks to the baker she?s awesome and amazing herself went completely beyond in making my sons birthday cake. Very good food. Great atmosphere. Carmel apple martinis are yum. The room with the bar & fire place is nice for date night.... Another large room with lots of seating too. Outdoor patio is great in warm weather & dog friendly. Read more
Vanessa and I had a great time together at Finn?s and had great dishes and service. This place is a winner! We were served by... Cici that was incredible and was everything you would want for a server. The food was incredible and the specials were awesome.Desert was fantastic. This place is a hidden gem. The attention to detail was very noticeable and appreciated. When we arrived we were sat quickly by... the fireplace? entire vibe set instantly. And if we weren?t sat by the fire the outdoor area is absolutely beautiful. I wasshocked. My husband got the butter beer drink with the cookie (omg that cookie was so dense and amazing) and it was AMAZING?like seriously the whip cream is so dense and delicious. Total fall vibes. I got the lavender blackberry drink and IT WASAMAZING. 10/10 just on the drinks. The server was so sweet and FAST. Our waters never got down last 3/4 full. The spinach dipwas phenomenal. So sultry and cheesy. Our food was also good! I will say I wish I had got a steak and sides because the CajunAlfredo noddles weren?t my favorite but the meats and sauce were great regardless. And then the cupcakes at the end. Made mewant to order a dozen. (Smart marketing) and the bathrooms OMG FANCY. All around beautiful amazing experience. Sometimes I feel like this place is a little bit too rich for my blood, but they always treat me amazingly! The atmosphere is... amazing and the service is perfect. The bathroom is soooo cool. I absolutely love their Caesar salad, it?s my favorite. I?m useto homemade Caesar salad and this place is the closest place I have been able to find that tastes just like a homemade Caesarsalad. The bruschetta is pretty delicious as well. My best friend and I tried that. They make homemade cupcakes and those arereally cool. I highly recommend coming here! Read more
