My husband wanted to take me somewhere new and different. Mythos fulfilled both of our expectations. The food is wonderful,... served hot and cooked to perfection. My Beef Vesuvius was fabulous and hubby's Ribeye was tender and juicy. Our waitress, Nicolewas so sweet, very attentive but did not hover which is very nice. The atmosphere is very romantic even though it was 3 in theafternoon, we had a quiet intimate meal together. A very nice place to enjoy each other's company and and an awesome meal, thankyou for the great time. We will definitely be back! Read more
Really enjoyed the saganaki and the Greek platter (the appetizer for 2 people - ate it for 3 meals!). Haven was great, as was... the food. Disappointed the pasticio was removed from the menu before I ever got to try it, but everything I ate was fantastic. Read more
It was disappointing ???? The calamari was overcooked, then when re-made the squid portion was fabulous but the thick breading... (possibly frozen) was greasy and under cooked. Calamari should be dusted not dredged.....flash cooked 3 minutes..so breadingshould be light. The village salad...Hirakiti was drowned in dressing. So be sure to order it on the side...also feta crumblesnot even brine soaked Feta. ???? It wasn't horrible just not the quality I would expect from a top tier restaurant. Also, mymain dish came out before appetizers was pulled. It was stressful..instead of relaxing. Why are they in such a hurry? ...therestaurant was empty. Normally, one of my favorite restaurants but the sea bass was freezer burned. The salad and kasseri cheese was fabulous ????
Amazing food, our waitress Nicole was fantastic and answered all our questions about the menu (was there for lunch) and the... restaurant is beautiful inside. Very reasonable prices for the large amount of food. I had the Tour of Mythos which had asampling of 10 or more items and my Mom had Moussaka and it was delicious. Had Baklava for birthday dessert. You cannot gowrong eating there! Read more
Very nice place with a great selection in the menu. The server helped me immensely and the kitchen easily accommodated my... dietary needs. They have some good Greek standards that you don't find everywhere. A party in the next room over was very loudand the sound echoed everywhere ruining the atmosphere a bit. The only down side really was that the prices are a bit high. Goat lunch time if you want a better price, but dinner comes with some extras. Read more
I like Mythos but the food wasn't very Greek honestly. I don't like ripping on restaurants but that was the inly downside of my... trip in. The service was quite friendly, ambiance was expensive and nice, and the price was extremely affordable. I'd recommendthis to anyone in Joplin. Read more
Excellent service excellent food. My only complaint is the music was Way to loud hard to talk over it
