The food tastes great. My wife didn't realize there were jalapeños on her breakfast burrito because ingredients are not listed... on the menu. She picked them off and was satisfied with the burrito anyway. Next time she will know how to order better. Theoption to pay with a card went away before I could get my card out and process the payment. Drive ins are not always myfavorite, but at time the family wants to eat and I get caught on the ordering side of the car. Read more
I have personally worked at sonic and am not generally one to complain, but I went to this sonic on 10/9 around 6:45 pm and I... was very disappointed in the service and the overall food quality. I ordered a 3 piece chicken tender dinner. When ordering Iwas asked if I wanted sauce, I specifically asked if the gravy is still included in the dinner, and I was told yes. I wait agood 5 minutes for my food. I was okay with that because I assumed they were making it fresh, when I received my food I foundout that was not the case (everything was luke warm at best). I open the dinner and find: an odd assortment of chicken pieces(multiple very small nugget type pieces and another that had a whole side of breading missing), a haphazard mix of tater totsand fries (the meal is supposed to come with tater tots), two pieces of toast (the only part of the meal that was donecorrectly), no onion ring, and no gravy. I hit the red button and ask for a side of gravy, they say I will have to wait a fewminutes because they will need to make more. So that means instead of making more for the meal I ordered they instead decidedjust not to include it. I'll be honest, I don't normally get fast food, I don't like to spend the money on it. But, yesterdaywas a long day and last night I didn't want to have to make dinner so I splurged. Looking back I should have just refused thefood and asked for a refund, but I had already waited so long that I really didn't want to wait any longer. I ended up makingmyself dinner when I got home anyways because the food from this sonic was so gross. Honestly a zero star experience. Verydisappointing. Read more
Great place to eat or grab a quick drink in the drive-thru. The person ahead ordered more than I did and the brought my drink... out to me before the car ahead of me left. Got me out quicker. Read more
I'm a professional cook and been owner of my own fast food cafe and supervised many others. Never ever would I serve the food... that comes out of here. You pay good money for fast food the way it is to get what your served. I thought new management thing'swould be different...but it isn't. I don't care how busy or short handed you are still no excuse if you're a good manager orassistant manager you'll make sure what is being served. That's what you get paid to do. I either get what I didn't order orundone onion rings. And this time lettuce rotten on my hamburger. Should not even be where workers are serving it. I will nolonger eat here. Read more
This is the GROSSEST sonic in Joplin!!!!!! EVERY TIME I come here the food is gross, literally EVERY TIME! I started going to a... different sonic that is further away and THEIR staff can seem to always get it right!!.... However THIS ONE CAN'T..... I decidedto give this sonic a try ONE MORE TIME today after almost a year of not coming here and of course they still messed it up!!! Iattached pictures of my burrito and let me tell you, even though the food already looks unappetizing in the pic, it tasteswaaaaaay more disgusting than it looks... I try not to complain. This is usually my go to sonic. However I ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese croissants and the first two... eggs and sausage were very overdone. I tried to eat them but it was just too burnt and asked them to be re made, not burned...the second ones were no better. First are the indevidual pics and second ones are pictured together. Good fast food. Went in recently to try the Biggie Cheese and thought it was a'ight. I had a small wait during lunch time, but... nothing to wild. Burger looked good and was cooked well, but I'm not a fan of the ol slap on some BBQ sauce gimmick burger. Ithink its lazy. I didn't know the burger came with BBQ sauce and had my heart set on a big ol fat cheeseburger. Overall Iliked the burger but will ask to hold the BBQ sauce next time. Ordered corn dog and was cold when got it. And had my patient with me with Dementia. So hard to take her places and she loves... sonic corn dogs she told me even was cold and didn't taste very good was very disappointed Read more
