While the food is good and prices are great theirs something to be said about the attitude of the cashier/order taker that runs... the counter.... This guy is very dismissive, abrupt and a tad snobby. I don't know if it's because he does tons of business anddon't feel good customer service is necessary or he's hardened by the difficult customer he's encountered but when you call himout on his attitude, he's always dismissive. I decided that I won't keep spending my hard earned money with people who treat mewith such disdain especially when I am always very nice, courteous and leave tips for the cooks.! Read more
Small restaurant and appears to be in a lower income area so keep that in mind. The parking lot is huge and is not commensurate... to the size of the restaurant; you will see what I mean if you ever go there. Customer service is average. They have mediocretechnology but it works for them. In spite of all this... the chicken is amazing and reasonably priced. Read more
Food is always fresh and delicious. Best value and big portions. 1 platter can feed 2 people . My favorite to go place for... lunch. The half and half hits the spot on a hot day. It's so sweet and good. The lunch special for 6.99 is really a great deal.I eat here like 3 times a week. Read more
The driest breast ive ever had - couldnt wait to try (joppa) and was very disappointed - the fries were soggy from the steam -... no flavor on batter and very over cooked chicken - never again - wont last long like this - chicken on roof was better and didntlast long. Read more
this place is awesome! We have a place in Pittsburgh called Hooks fish and chicken and this is basically the same thing! Same... seasoning! That?s what we come here for! It is really really good it?s like a lemon pepper powder but you cannot find itanywhere else. so if you are visiting or even looking for a new fried chicken I would definitely try this place. Reasonableprices for sure. lots to choose from & friendly people. I wish they sold the seasoning! The only reason why it is not a fivestar, is because the fries are pretty soggy .. and I feel like that is something they could work on. but other than that, Iwould recommend this place for chicken in the area :) Read more
First let me say I was greeted with smiles as soon as I walked through the door . I had preferred the wrong stuff and instead... of them arguing with me they fixed it promptly even told me about the deals they had to save me money .. they let me try thespecial seasoning which was phenomenal.. If you like fried foods and lots of oil, this is your place. Everything on the menu is fried, except the cole slaw. This Hip... Hop just opened, and they were monster busy, so I guess I understand why we got fried wings in our box instead of chicken legsas were ordered. Large portions of food and even larger portions of grease in the bottom of the box. I root for localbusinesses, and I hope this one sticks around, it's just not the place for me. Read more
