We saw this is one of the only fast food options along this area of the interstate, and decided it was better to eat sooner... rather than later. Most Sonic?s are a hit or miss and we were pleasantly surprised by this one! We ordered ahead online andpulled up to the drive thru, we were informed we had about a 7 minute wait. We ended up waiting maybe 5 minutes and when greetedat the window the employees were very friendly and attentive. We got everything we asked for and lots of condiments and napkins.It looked like they may have been short handed, but we wouldn?t have been able to tell if we hadn?t looked inside. This Sonic is inside the Valero truck stop right off of I-10 at Segovia. It's a smaller version with just a drive-thru and... walk-in. I ordered in advance using the app and got there before I had indicated I would. They were already working on my orderand the young man who helped me was extremely friendly and efficient. My food was fresh and tasty, and I had a special orderitem that was prepared perfectly. There was a sign up that they are shorthanded but when I was there, you wouldn't know it. Read more
We called prior to arriving (we are truckers) asking when do they close. We were told 9pm. Got here at 805pm and they close at... 7. Seems hours are 10a-7pm. So if you?re a trucker don?t come here hungry. This is ridiculous Read more
We stopped specifically for Sonic because trucks normally don't have access to them. It's 3:30 pm and they are closed... The... owner may as well lay everyone off and close for good if you can't even stay open during the day. Read more
Got some food before heading to San Antonio, pulled up and all workers were sitting down and heads down in their phones. Waited... 20mins when there was no drive thru orders or in dining room. Order cheeseburgers for myself and kids, later on that nightdaughter threw up that burger and next my son threw up, next I threw up and we felt like it was food poisoning/bad or old meat.DONT STOP HERE!!!
