*first time customer extremely small bakery and asked about bread they had. Kind of wished the bread racks wasn?t so far away... I?m all about seeing it up close. I enjoy that it?s bread and only about limited type and nothing else. Reminds me of stands inGrand Central but you can actually see it up close. I enjoyed the chili cheese loaf and the baguette was not crusty and wasweirdly skinny in the middle but after toasting it was good. ???? Sadly to say the chocolate brioche I thought would be amazingwas a miss for me. I?ve worked in bakery were we make a chocolate ,orange and a sugar cube brioche bun it was beyond delicious.Johnnys had a hint of chocolate mostly on the edge of bun, the brioche tasted very ?eggy? yes I know lots of eggs and butter gointo the dough but it needed flavor or essence maybe vanilla and with lack of chocolate it tasted flat(It also had a wet doughfeel) maybe some crunchy sugar on top. I would go back and try different breads maybe ???? it would change my mind that I canonly get great bread from NY Read more

This is the best place in Jupiter and possibly in Florida to get great sourdough bread. The place is filled with all kind of... bread, I have not tried all of them yet, but my favorite for now is Country. Country bread is perfect, classic sourdough withcrispy crust, chewy texture and full of flavor, you add some butter and this is all you need to be in gourmet heaven. Read more

Stopped by in the afternoon for a surprise treat, hoping there would be something yummy on the rack. Johnny did not disappoint!... Got a rye loaf and a dark chocolate cherry loaf. We may or may not have eaten the entire chocolate cherry loaf on the ride home???????????? Read more

Our loaves were almost too hot to hold they were so fresh. It was impossible to wait and not eat the chocolate sea salt brioche... in the car. The smell is intoxicating hours later. We had to stop ourselves and slice the cinnamon raisin and the huge sesameloaves for the freezer tonight. We recently moved here and are so happy we found a true artisan bread bakery. Slices of heaven. Read more

Best in the area. Hands down. I?m so happy to have a real bread baker in Jupiter that it actually makes me a bit emotional! I... grew up in Vermont, where bakeries and incredible breads are the norm; when I?m up there in the summers I find crusty loaves ofhearty sourdough everywhere I shop (particularly the King Arthur Flour bakery). When I come back to Jupiter for the winter Ichange my meals significantly; sandwiches and toast just aren?t the same without good bakery bread, and my own skills bakingbread are just not up to par. (I can?t keep sourdough starter alive. I?m bad with house plants too.) I?m THRILLED to reportthat Bread by Johnny is even better than I was told, and I?m now making my weekend plans around picking up another loaf. I can?twait to try the Calabrian chilis and cheese, I have a feeling that I?ll want to eat the whole loaf at once. Both employees Italked to were friendly and helpful, and I was especially happy to see that credit cards are accepted. I forgot to ask if theyhave a bread slicing machine? I?ll check next time! Thank you for opening and please stay forever! (Attaching a photo of thesesame loaf, which made for a staggeringly tasty turkey/Jarlsberg/hummus sandwich. I lightly toasted it first but if that?s notyour preference it?s also fabulous without toasting.) Read more
