So happy to have an original Chicago hot dog joint in this location. Expectations were met above and beyond with fast and... friendly service. Joeys def worth the stop especially for those of us in this neighborhood. Open great hours and days, reasonable prices, and so... far the basics of the menu we have tried are very good. Few small suggestions, lesser importance is to add a cheeseburger mealto the menu, many of us can?t eat triple patty burgers but a reg burger we would love to try! More importantly where Is THE SOFTSERVE ICE CREAM machine? I would def come much more w my family but I also think w this large neighborhood and kids in thespring and summer would come nightly for a treat. W a soft serve you can make cones, Oreo shakes, malts, and even sundaes. Ithink the teen crowd would love it but the parents would come more also. First time going there and reminded me of an old school fast food joint, which I prefer over these new places that open up and... look way to contemporary. I tried their Gyro sandwich combo and loved it. I've been going to other places and the gyros justaren't the same anymore. Joey's was perfect for my taste. Bonus they had orange Crush at the fountain machine. I'll definitelybe going back and trying some other items. I'd give em a try you probably won't be disappointed. Read more
Hot dogs are Vienna beef and really good. Cheese fries taste amazing. The watermelon Italian ice taste more like an artificial... sorbet non watermelon flavored. Jalapeño poppers were HORRIBLE the cheese taste like if it was frozen and cooked too fast thecheese was still clumpy instead of melted. Read more
Joey please pay a little more attention to the Italian beef sandwich,I got one the other day and it was not the usual like... always.
