The service was fantastic! Good atmosphere but the food was just ok!? I hope they see this and change it up a bit, add a little... salt to your chips after you fry them and find some decent seasoning for your pablano dish, the fluffy outer shell of thepablano was kinda weird too. Woof. $75 dollars for a bad case of heartburn and what tasted like day old leftovers. Don?t mind the wait if the food is good -... but chips were stale, carnitas were grey and cold, the guacamole tasted like it had been mixed with mayo, and the enchiladasauce was just plain not good. Went on a 2-days trip from Oahu to Maui and we found this gem. We're Puerto Ricans that loves our Mexicans best friend and their... food. We have visited soo many Mexican restaurants looking for that authentic Mexican flavor and this place has it. From theservice to the food was everything amazing. We were looking for something to remind us of home in Texas and found Amigo?s. It?s hard to go up against real Tex-Mex but this... comes pretty close and won?t destroy your wallet. Between the four of us we had a wet burrito plate, various hard shell tacos,and a burrito bowl. All declared it was good stuff and walked away happy. I think you?ll think the same. Read more
Their staff is super nice and helpful. I got the chicken fajitas and I didn't like how the chicken was cooked. It's kinda stale.... My SO got cheese quesadilla and she didn't like her food either. It could just be the food we ordered. Read more
I've been to Amigo's I & II several times over the years and most of these instances the staff fails to properly take an order.... It's not hard to write down "no cheese." Too many they are lazy and don't do this. They love wasting food. It's incredible.Failure of management to properly train people. The food is not bad, but it's not good enough to warrant coming back knowingthere's a 75% chance it will go to waste. Even if it were good enough, it's wrong and a disgrace. Read more
