Fast simple and taste good. I ordered at least 40 tacos and it was only a ten min wait and fresh.
Waited at drive thru order module for almost 10 mins with no one coming on to ask for order, cars piling up behind me, finally... drove up to the window to place my order where i was met by employees who looked puzzled and looked at me as though i didsomething wrong by not continuing to wait at the module to place my order. Then, magically, they decided to start taking ordersagain. Mind you, this happened at 1pm in the afternoon. Zero work ethic in this place!! Not to mention how poorly the food isconstructed. The employees seem to use the bare minimum of ingredients to fulfill orders. A taco that costs almost $3 should bemade to suit the price!!! No consistency whatsoever. Of course we had to get the nacho fries. They were good. We got the nacho box, chalupa box and nacho fries box. Came out fast... and hot. Delicious as always. I wish the staff were a bit friendlier but they are never rude and I've always gotten what Iordered. Read more
The best Taco Bell I have ever been to. The service is fast and the food taste fresher than other locations. The Maui guide... books have a coupon for buy one get one free taco supremes on page 40 if you are looking for a deal. Also clean bathrooms butyou have to ask the front for a key. The Taco Bell restaurants here also serve a limited menu of personal pan pizzas and breadsticks from Pizza Hut (another... subsidiary of Yum! Brands). Service is relatively quick, the restaurant is well kept, and the menu items are fairly priced forwhat you get. It has been many years since the restaurant was last overhauled, and it shows with how the chair legs havedeveloped patina and the tables are kept from wobbling with bunched up napkins, but the tables, seats and countertops are alwayskept pretty clean. At the time of this review, this taco bell just brought back its heavily marketed "nacho fries" with thetagline "Season two, seasoned too". Unfortunately they were unavailable on the day of this review. Here on Maui, the Taco Bellshave a specially made, limited offer "kalua pork" menu which incorporates the local delicacy into their dishes. It's not for methough as I personally go to Taco Bell for their namesake. The tacos are flavorful and lack the extra fruits and vegetablesthat I do not enjoy on my tacos (though I would have appreciated black olives as an option). Their nachos are pricy and theamount of cheese sauce they give is on the lesser side. "Two pumps" was the response I was given one day when inquiring aboutthe cheese amount. Decades ago, they once offered cold cheese which would effectively give you more cheese since the cheesewould expand as it warmed rather than contract as it cooled given the same initial volume. Nowadays, you're stuck with hotcheese at two pumps which quickly cools leaving you with about half a container's worth of cheese at room temperature. I orderit nonetheless since there is really no competition when it comes to quick, affordable cheese sauce which I absolutelylove. All in all, this Taco Bell is a great place to eat.
