What's not to love at this place? Ate at this place twice on our 3 days in Maui. Ate here when after we landed and brought the... food in at the airport while waiting for our flight. We got the poke, pork belly with garlic noodles, chicken and steak withgarlic noodles dishes. All dishes are flavor bomb! Exceeded our expectation, regular filipino food that were elevated. Pricesare reasonable and cheap compared to other places we ate at during our trip. It was very convenient placing an order online,pick up was very fast. Went for the hype. Definitely worth the wait for takeout. Ordered through their website at 6am for noon pick up. Waited in... parking lot for about 10 mins and got a text message that food was ready. Very savory food items and that "animal style" (aspecial sauce that they add) went well with my pork belly spam and 6-minute egg on rice combo. Teriyaki chicken was sooo goodand not too salty. Beef with noodles also on point. If you're in to sandwiches, their fried chicken thigh sandwich is a surewinner (spice optional and really not that spicy if you choose to brave it lol ?????) There's a reason their rating is so high! As soon as we parked there was already a lineup building up outside the restaurant.... They are not offering seating at the moment. You order food at the door and it is all made to go. The garlic shrimp, porkbelly, garlic noodles, and 6 minute egg were delicious and very filling. It also came with veggies and options for white orbrown rice. The prices were fair for the amount of food given. May be suitable for 2 meals honestly. Plenty of parking withinthe plaza and we took our order straight back to the car to eat it. So delicious and local! We arrived around 3PM and the line was pretty short. We ordered mochiko chicken with garlic noodles and spicy marlin, which was... their special that day. The food came pretty fast, I don?t think we waited more than 5 mins. Since there are tables, we just satdown on the benches outside and ate. It looked, smelled and tasted amazing! The fish was fresh and well seasoned. The chicken,oh my, probably was one of the crispiest chicken I?ve ever had. Even with the sauce, it wasn?t soggy. I think this usually comeswith rice but I paid $4 extra for garlic noodles and that was an excellent choice. We ate it till the last bite. As we werefinishing up Chef Sheldon Simeon was walking up to the restaurant and talked to him briefly. We went back few days later andtried the same thing but this time the spicy marlin with noodles (cold one, forgot the name but was delicious). We reallyenjoyed Tin Roof during our trip! Read more
Amazing place! Definitely order ahead, and it?ll be ready for pickup once you arrive! The poke bowl with marlin was outrageously... fresh. I?ve had lots of poke bowls in my life, and this is probably the best I?ve ever had. The portion of fish was huge and therice was soft and delicious. Good take-out location for poke and other traditional Hawaiian dishes. A low-key, take-out joint that specializes in quick-prep,... high-quality fresh food. We came here for a late dinner with the family after going up to the crater and was impressed. We wentnear closing time and even then there were still people waiting for their food which was a good sign that the place was quitegood. We ordered within three minutes of being there and got our food within five minutes. I had the spicy marlin which wasamazing and had a taste of the other dishes such as the pork belly poke and the garlic noodles which were both great. The garlicshrimp poke and chicken poke were alright so I'd recommend the other ones. We shared the chocolate cake which was pretty goodand had almost a date-like flavor. Finally, service was fine. It wasn't outstanding, but it's a take-out joint so I didn'texpect much. Overall, with regards to the food and speedy service, Tin Roof Maui is a place to definitely try! Read more
The food here is great. The poke bowl was around $17. The food quality and quantity was pretty good. There is no dine in. They... have few benches outside but we only used them to wait for our food to be done. The poke marinate mix was pretty good. They dohave different poke of the day depending on what kinda fish they have so that?s pretty cool. No complaints. Would come back hereagain when I?m in the area and craving Poke. Read more
The best last meal to have in Maui. It's so good I wish I could take more with me on the plane ride home. We had the mochiko... chicken with garlic noodles and it was all made to perfection. Like heaven in my mouth, don't eat here unless you love deliciousfood! FYI it's take out only. Read more
