It was great to finally have a good Italian meal. The chicken parmesan was wonderful and with large thick slices of garlic... butter toasted bread. The four meatballs side was great with sauce. All were hot and tasty. The deep dish pizza with extracheese was perfect. The Mai time wheat daught beer was the finishing touch to good meal. Nice place to eat inside or outsidedining. We came near closing time. Seated quickly. The water tasted funny. The bathroom is outside around another building. Was a bit... nervous going out alone at night as it was away from everything, but no issues. The lava flow was a bit icy but better onceremade. My pineapple martini was perfect. The pizza and white sauce lasagna was surprisingly very tasty. Worth visiting. Read more

Ok?.I don?t care if pizza is not the best when traveling. I get that different regions of the country enjoy different styles of... crust, sauce, etc. I do get annoyed when the pizza is put together without any care or respect for the money I had to earn tobuy it. Please note the picture of the inedible pizza we ordered today. It is their famous mozzarella pie. We paid extra foronions! Please note one skimpy piece of tomato per slice. Great regular crust pizza. Half pepperoni and half artichoke hearts. A thick crust is available but a 12" was perfect for two.... Lighting at the tables is bad. Need to replace cool LEDs with warmer lamps. Will make the food look even better. Read more
Not bad / decent, full menu, good service, etc. I just wasn?t in love with the pizza. We got pizza, 2 styles and lasagna. They... were out of eggplant parmigiana so we didn?t get to try that. Lasagna was good not great. It was meat lasagna. I say thatbecause the main dishes aren?t on the menu. There?s a flyer in a holder on the table aside from the menu that has the main itemsbut just the names not descriptions. Pizza, salads and sandwiches are all on the menu. Wine was so so. This is one of my favorite restaurants on the island. We came here for my birthday a couple weeks ago and, as always, the food... was INCREDIBLE and really well priced. We only ended up paying so much because of their full bar and my love of Sauv Blanc???? The service is always funny, kind, and attentive ? We're so lucky to have you on Big Island! Read more
As a local who has been here many many times I can say I will never eat here again. You can?t judge this place on old reviews... as the food and staff is not at all what is was 2 years ago. Please judge by the last year of reviews. Is it edible? Yesmostly. This places has gotten worse and worse over time. I had sworn off this place but someone gave us a gift card so wereturned last week. A family of 4 could not finish a large pizza. That should say something to the staff workings there. Wedidn?t eat the left overs. Pizza is same if not worse than a frozen pizza. Crust is not bubbly or hand tossed. They overlysprinkle season on the pizza. This time I asked to leave that off hoping for a better pizza but nope. It was so salty I didn?tfinish my ONE piece. Ravioli is no different again that what you buy at the grocery store. Pasta is bland. The customerservice is also bad, after you wait forever for a table, don?t expect a smile or a refill on your drink and food takes a longtime to come out. They in no way shape or form EARN their tips. This place needs to fire everyone from chef to customerservice positions and start over with all new recipes and employees. They should be ashamed of ripping off tourist and localsoff with mediocre food at best. Read more
