We got the curry chicken soup and while the flavor was fine there were no veggies or chicken in the soup that was unexpected to... have just the liquid soup with nothing in it. The veggie chili was fine, a bit too spicy but tolerable for a small meal. Thecouscous was ok and the sandwich was ok. I found my new lunch shop. The Chicken Salad on Brioche was excellent. My daughter had a Pepperoni Pizza and ate it all by... herself. Eating area upstairs had a beautiful view and the quiet is priceless. Read more
I am so happy I found out this gem while on the Big Island. They have a great menu of food to enjoy while you can enjoy a view.... Or, the grocery selection and already made food were wonderful. It?s high quality so the prices are higher but it?s worth it.They have a variety of snacks and options for on the go as well. The gentleman working was so friendly. I tried several thingsbut the Kona Coffee mini pie may of been the greatest treat I?ve ever eaten. It?s right outside of the main attraction ofdowntown, a simple walk to get to. Kona Town Market has given us a fun and friendly place to grocery shop. There are homemade specials like chicken pot pie. We... look forward to choosing a thin crust pizza or taking home a cup of hot curried chicken soup or vegetarian chili. The ownersknow the area and have collected unique gift items that local artist have created. I always take a look in the corner of theirstore to find a recent treasure.
