Enjoyable dinner with plenty delicious options. Our server was very attentive and have a good knowledge of Japanese food.... Everything was delicious and even better with a cold kirin. The shrimp tempura, salmon poppers, miso soup, chicken and beef teriyaki were all excellent. The sushi was good, but not great -... have had better at 'new american' restaurants in Hilo. Read more
We loved this place. I don't know how their rolls are but if you are looking for authentic Japanese food then go here and order... several of their appetizers and sashimi. They also have soba noodles and a nice sake sampling with three diffrent sakes.Portions are very decent for the price. Read more
Very basic sushi. We had plenty to eat but the quality wasn’t there. $38 for sushi deluxe. None of it fresh, by my estimation.... They were pleasant enough. There’s a small outdoor patio where are you can have your dinner, indoor seating as well. Won’tbe back. Read more

Wonderful locals Japanese restaurant. We loved it so much we went back two days later, ran the same order all over again. Very... nice staff. Super tasty food and sake. Clean and organized. Everything we ate here was full of flavor and very well prepared and balanced. The sake sampler was the perfect way to try a few... that we hadn’t had before. The yellow tail collar and miso cod were faves but the toro stole the show. Kind of a strangelocation but the food is well worth it. Read more
