I never post reviews even if I?m unhappy but this deserves exception. This is by far the worst asian food I?ve ever had. It?s... really a Thai restaurant but calls itself Vietnamese. I don?t know what it was. I supposes they?re appealing to a quick fixhunger grab group but even at that level I felt bad throwing the food in the trash so I could recycle the containers in fear ofmaking my trash can sick. Outstanding food. We happened upon this spot after trying several other restaurants that were closed. Wednesday seems to be the... day most restaurants are closed. There were four in our group and we were seated immediately. We ordered mixed seafood plate,mushroom chicken, the Calcutta and coconut shrimp. Do not recommend this place. It was expensive, they add 25% gratuity automatically no matter how big your check is, the menu is... not updated, our waitress never checked on us we had to get the busser to get our checks, they refused to seat us together as aparty and separated us. Very tacky and overpriced. Save the trip. Read more
I went in for lunch, their hours are till like 135pm or something. This is the first time I've been able to make it in time.... Hoped to dine in, but I don't think they do that yet? Great takeout. Comes in easy to reuse containers and the sauce for the papaya salad came on the side for maximum flavor, crunch,... and freshness. The Bahn mi was toasted but soft on the inside. Meat and veggies were moist and flavorful. They should have beenwrapped in paper instead of in their own plastic container; kinda wasteful. The summer rolls were huge. Tom kha soup was goodtoo. Worst service and just about as bad as the food. Calamari were cold in the middle. Shrimp were like from Safeway frozen shelf.... Do not do it. There are better places to eat in Kauai. Read more
