Maria Bonita's Lunchwagon has the most authentic and inexpensive Mexican food in Kailua. The fish taco and street carne asada... taco plates with rice and beans are our absolute fave. Call and order about 15 to 20 minutes before you get there. Food is madeto order and delicious! Take out and dinner only brah. Read more

Old food truck run by what looked like a father (super nice) and son. Food was great and so were the prices considering how... expensive ingrediants are right now in Hawaii. Just 6 min from the beach and 3 min from the main part of town. We tried theTaquitos, Spicy Burrito and Fish Tacos. Not disappointed with any of it though the burrito was the best. Not to be overlookedor under appreciated was salsa. Great flavor and just the right amount of heat. Want to come here again though not sure wewill he back in the area. One thing to note is that they are CASH ONLY so come prepared. Read more

Ordered the Maria special tacos, fish tacos and spicy pork burritos and they were all fresh, well seasoned, and tasty. The owner... was really friendly and even took the time to have a quick chat with us despite being a one man band . Would highly recommend! Read more
