Let me start out by saying that every, and I mean EVERY time I order the 8oz steak rare, it ALWAYS needs to be recooked. And... while the rest of the staff is pleasant, and seemingly attentive to my needs, I can?t help but return to this same Applebees forone reason. Frank, the bartender. Don?t get me wrong, I have tried multiple times, and in multiple ways, to get him to make mydrinks stronger than normal. But he is a ?by the book? bartender. And there?s nothing wrong with that. His knowledge, is onlysurpassed by his personality!! The cooks can continue to over cook my steak as many times as they want. As long as Frank is mybartender, I?ll continue to return!!! Came in on a Saturday evening expecting a wait. Was told it would be about 20 minutes for a table for two. No problem, we waited... in the car and came back in after 15 minutes so we were ready. When we came back in the hostess was rude and told us we stillneeded to wait. I didn't even give her a bad reaction, I just said no problem. I'm not sure why she reacted so rude to us. Thefamily before us must have left because they didn't respond when their name was called, so they said we could have their table.They seated us and told us our waitress would be over to help us. We glanced over the menus and picked out what we wanted.That's when I realized we had been sitting there for 20 minutes and not been helped yet. I flagged a waitress down as she walkedpassed and said I didn't know who our waitress was but we hadn't been helped yet. I was not rude, I used a polite tone andwords. Waited at least 10 more minutes and seen the waitress walk past us 2 more times. Still no help. So I looked behind us andsaw another waitress helping a table. I flagged her down and said the same thing as before. She blamed it on the hostess andsaid she'd be over to help. 10 more minutes pass and still no waitress. That's when we decided to leave. I totally understandshort staffing at restaurants and the need for customers to be patient, but it wasn't even that busy in there. I feel I was verypatient and gave them ample time to help us. We waited almost an hour in total to not even get a beverage. I had to go to Meijerafterwards and get a frozen dinner for my meal that night. Read more
Server was great!! Food was ok. Some of my Broccoli was cooked to much and some of it was hard and cold. My steak was cooked... properly. My daughters steak was not cooked to medium but more like well done. We were hesitant to send anything back to thekitchen in fear of what they would do to the food. Read more
We went to celebrate two birthdays and we had a party of 8. We waited for over 20 minutes for our drinks, we felt the need to... place our food order at that point to insure we got our order in promptly (two children with us). We then sat and talked withour family for 20-30 minutes and our server came back to check how we wanted steak and sides for two dishes. I watched as he hadjust went to enter our order into the system. We waited for another 35-40 minutes before food arrived which the steak wasserved undercooked and topped with onions and mushrooms. Pregnant wife asks for it to be cooked to well done. Come back in 5minutes with another steak that was well done with onions and mushrooms. Our server (in training) was amazing for a newbie. Couldn't have asked for anyone more pleasant ant accommodating. 6 out of 8 of... us ordered steaks. Everything from 12oz ribeye to 6oz sirloin and a bourbon steak. Only 2 we're cooked correctly. Then there wasthe fact that only one of the steaks was actually good. Very disappointed. Guess I'll have to either find someplace different orgo back to my old standby. 3 cheese chicken and penne pasta. Always good. It'll definitely be awhile if we ever go back. Read more
Was having a rough day and my bartender Amy was EVERYTHING!!! My sangria's were on point and she made sure my food was out in a... timely manner. She was sooooo sweet and friendly. I was visiting from Nashville TN but if I come back I will definitely go seemy sweet bartender Amy. Read more
Been here a few times. Sometimes the food is not good and not even very warm, sometimes it's hot. Usually seated quickly and get... your food within about 20 minutes of ordering. Shark bowls are amazing! Read more
We prefer restauwithout bars since we are non- drinkers. The food is great. We ate there several times. They also have... curbside service and home delivery. We have used both of those as well. Great salads, steaks, shrimp, etc. Read more
