The most authentic and delicious Indian food Kalamazoo has to offer. Always a delight to dine here. Tons of food for the price,... and friendly staff and fun environment. The food is prepared with care, so don't expect fast food level turn around times, butALWAYS worth a visit. A true hidden gem of Kalamazoo. I always order the butter chicken and their sweet lassi. Really enjoyed the food at Cumin, happened to just be wandering around Kalamazoo looking to kill some time and thought the... reviews sounded good so decided to check it out. Very good food, rather spicy without being overtly so (and I am a big fan ofspicy food), tried a few dishes just to get a good sampling and didn't find anything I disliked though the yogurt dish wasn'tsomething I was a fan of personally it still was made well and glad I tried it, very good Indian tea too. We went out on lunch today. The food was tasty and delicious. We ordered shahi paneer, roti chilli naan and a chicken dish for a... friend. For starters we ordered samosa chat and momos. Chat samosa was altogather different as they gave two samosa two chutneytamarid and green plus curd. Momos were delicious must try if you are around with their spicy chutney. Food quantity was alsoample for 1 person to finish it we finished it all in 4 people to avoid food wastage. Overall a nice indian restaurant to havethat quick bite of our spice. Read more
Went here for the first time since it's one of the few "Halal" restaurants in Kalamazoo area. Orders lamb biryani and some Papri... chaat. The biryani was anything but a traditional biryani. It was more like zeera rice with lamb. Although it tasted good init's own way. The Chat was decent as well. All safety measures are being undertaken for Covid-19. Would definitely go back andtry some of their other dishes. If you are craving for some Indian food then its a good place to stop by for dine-in or takeout considering it's one of the only three Indian restaurants in Kalamazoo/Portage area. Read more
All the food we ordered was excellent! All were so delicious & tasted fresh!! It was my first time trying Indian chai tea (wo... milk, wo sugar) and I LOVED IT! I tasted so many spices in the tea. I have to mention about their Lamb Korma..! Wow????! Oneof the best Lamb Korma I?ve tried so far. Sauce was very creamy & the meat was so soft! We enjoyed it so much!! Our server(female) was really nice as well???? P.S.: There was a suv in the parking lot stuck in the snow when we arrived at therestaurant.
