My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo, the sauce was chalky he said it was the worst he has ever had. Our friend ordered the... pizza with Alfredo sauce and he said it was chalky also. My salad was great even with the eliminations I had to make due toallergies. Our waitress was great also. Read more
Nice ambiance and plenty of seating available. The menu had a good variety of food and the prices were fair, especially... considering the generous portions. All the staff we encountered were friendly and our waitress was very attentive. The onlyknock was that the food wasn't the highest quality. It wasn't poor, but it was very average compared to other Italianrestaurants in the greater Kalamazoo area. Everything else about my dining experience was great. Read more
Love love Fricano's! The fried artichoke is amazing. We ordered several mushroom dishes that were all fantastic as well. Staff... were all very kind and helpful. I will certainly go again. Awesome experience! Our server Karen was off the charts great. Because of her we got the pasta Pescatore off the "secret menu".... Linguini in red sauce with mussels, calamari and shrimp and aromatics. It was beyond good, really. Also had the Fricano'soriginal 5 items pizza. It was so good. The potential in this place, the vibe, the location, is endless. Gotta pull the trigger and create that. This place could be... an exceptional out of the way destination. These places gotta be run with discipline and self-discipline so they aren't turnedinto a modern, everybody is too busy on their phones to do their job kinda place. Push the wine, expand the menu, give it afine dining vibe. I still come back to this place but can see so much more for it, especially in the summer. Read more
