Drinks are a bit overpriced. Service is ok. Music could be hit and miss (I?m talking only Gatsby, not the Monaco Bay... downstairs). Although now they are doing Latin nights on Fridays, and that is a lot of fun - the people are very friendly anddancers of all levels are welcomed, with a good variety of music. Read more
The Gatsby is my favorite level of the Entertainment District. The style of 20s/30s with a hint of a modern feel to it is... something different, and creates a perfect atmosphere. The bartenders are real cool guys and make great drinks, and the musicmix that is played in the nightclub, is perfect for both ; people who just want to chill with friends,and who want to dance andlet loose. It's classy and also a riot. It's hard to pull off such an atmosphere. Read more

The Gatsby is unique to downtown, much different vibe than most of the other bars around. Go in for a drink and chat with an... interesting new stranger, or take in the gorgeous view of downtown through the full length windows; Gives a big city vibe fromthe view. Read more

This is one of my favorite places to go to in Kalamazoo. I love the environment! The speakeasy theme gives you an upscale feel... and a unique experience. My friends and I love to venture up to Gatsby for a night of dancing and elegance. We usually wear aparty dress to this bar! It makes the whole experience more exciting. It has a unique setting with lush and moderndécor/furniture pieces, sexy lighting and an wicked cool glass fireplace near the dance floor. My advice? Bring back the food menu! The food was the BEST here--Quality met quantity and the flavor was outstanding. Read more
