Pizza is amazing. Best pizza in Kalamazoo. Easily 5 stars for the pizza. If the lady is there as the hostess, she is awesome,... polite, respectful. The male owner is rude, impatient & disrespectful. Currently there?s a lot of self-serve. You go to the bar& order your food. Wait there for your drink order - you?re carrying it back to your table. And if you?re outside & want somewater? First visit to this lovely restaurant/bar -- long-time local (Vine neighborhood) venue. Very busy early evening pre-concert... (Herbie Hancock!) next door @ Chenery Auditorium. Outstanding casual Italian menu, pizzas with focaccia crusts. Crazy busy bartonight, yet no impression of stress -- friendly, professional service. I went to Martini's last night for the first time and absolutely loved the pizza! The crust was crisp, the sauce was so good,... and they dice the mushrooms so you get some in every bite! The staff was very friendly, I know because I talked to just abouteveryone that was working ;) I will definitely be back! Read more
We love this place, they have a small menu perhaps because of the pandemic. The dining inside was closed only the patio area was... opened and it was a first come first serve basis, luckily we got a table right away. I had a delicious chicken piccata, myhusband got a meatball sandwich. We will be back for sure. Read more
Martini's is one of our very favorite local restaurants. Something the whole family agreed on immediately! We usually get a... 16-in pizza topped half and half to please my son. I really enjoy Martini?s. The bread is great!! The pizza is good, and their charcuterie boards are my fave. Went recently on a... date, and while the server was kind enough to keep my Edible Arrangement in their cooler while we were there, we felt extremelyrushed during our visit. It?s the only reason for 3 stars versus 5. We sat out on the patio, not sure if there is a time limitout there. May want to check if dining outdoors. Read more
An hour and 15 min wait for pizza and the place was about a third full when we were seated. What happened to this place??? It... used to be a quaint atmosphere with excellent food. Now it's a dressed up Panera with alcohol you can't get bc there's a line. No one told us it was self serve. I saw an "order here" sign but the staff was going up to get there drinks so I had no ideawe were suppose to get in line with them. 15 minutes later the person seating people told us. We ordered and nothing. Host gaveus a salad which he's probably the owner everyone is complaining about. I think he has changed his ways bc he was the only onetrying to make people happy. BF was telling me it's ok we aren't in a hurry. Then they brought the food to two tables next tous that had been seated 30 min and the mild mannered BF lost it. After an hour and 15 min out our pizza showed up. Haha wethought you ordered it take out when they brought the pizza to the table. Haha we won't be back. Read more
