This place, at first glance, seems OK. The restaurant is clean and organized. It was very quiet and an inactive buffet table... stood on one side of the room. The owner was very nice and pleasant. She made us feel comfortable, almost like being invitedinto a home! The menu was quiet and rather simple, it seemed. We ordered a few dishes, wondering how it would turn out. Then,the food arrived. The aroma was wonderful! Each dish we ordered came out delicious and appetizing! The salt and spicy tofuwas very nice done. The tofu was piping hot, crispy on the outside and melting in your mouth once you bite into it. The bed ofchillies it sat on was also nicely fried and tasty (albeit slight spicy - but it is supposed to be that way). The tofu withmixed vegetables was very nicely done as well. The vegetable were cooked and yet crunchy to the bite. The flavors emanatingfrom the food delighted the palate! It seemed to be the trend for each dish we ordered - delicious, flavorful, and yet, notoily. Each dish came out very nice and hot. Then we tried the Crispy Eggplant. Until that day, I did not have a particularpassion for eggplant. This dish converted me! The eggplant was marinated then lightly battered, then deep-fried....well, Ithink. I say that because I was very surprised that it was not oily at all! The crunch of the batter coupled with the soft,delightfully marinated eggplant, was a surprise and, for once, I really enjoyed eggplant. I highly recommend this place and Iregret that I did not take any photographs of the food. I was too busy savoring the food and enjoying great company. The food is plentiful, wonderful, and affordable. The staff are always friendly and their shrimp lo mein is to die for. I can... not recommend this place enough. If you're looking for fabulous local Sichuan food, this is the place to go. Read more
Very good food. Good sized portions. Very accommodating. Our group had one person gluten free, some of us are vegan, and myself,... must avoid certain foods due to a reflux disorder. They were very helpful in finding what we could eat and modifying dishes tomake them fit. Very very good service. The dishes took a while to make, but so worth it for the flavor and the cooking style.It's one of those restaurants with the turn in the middle of the table for dish sharing. I would definitely return. They didrecommend booking a reservation since our group was large in case the time got busy. It was not very busy at the time, but I'mhappy we didn't have to worry about being seated. We had a few kids with us and they loved the food. Very happy to have gottento go here. After seeing the website and reading that this was a buffet I was really looking forward to trying it. I was startled to... discover the buffet has the tiniest selection of options I’ve ever seen in a Chinese buffet (see photo). Extremelydisappointed. Read more
First time trying it. Got the sesame chicken...that was not sesame chicken. It was red goo with sesame seeds on top. I couldn't... even eat it and since it was take out I can't even get a refund for it. They make you pay extra if you want a side of rice ornoodles, the prices are literally just for the chicken., And the sides were gross. My boyfriend got the orange chicken anddidn't like it either. We have been to this place for years and this is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in town! Their lunch special is a true... steal! You can try a lot of different dishes/soups/snacks for only a few bucks. I tried their L12 Home style beef tendon(one ofour favorites), triple slices fish filet and L07 Sichuan Poached beef today! All tasted good! The waitress checked on usfrequently and was kind. It wasn't too expensive and the portion sizes were reasonable. And our other favorite menus are H02Squirrel shaped fish w. Sweet and sour sauce, P04 pork w. Bamboo shoot, SS8 west lake beef soup. Sometimes we order throDoorDash but always tastes better when we dine in :) Read more
We opted for their authentic Chinese menu. We started with the Cucumber in Garlic sauce appetizer. For entrees we had the House... Special Beef Jerk, Shredded Duck stir fry, and Eggplant w/Ground Pork. Everything was incredible. We also tried Chinese cans ofthe Grass Jelly Drink, and Herbal Beverage Tea.
