Used to love Tyson every time we went he was so nice and it was a great time. We went there for my friends birthday and he had a... whole break down, screamed at us saying we had fake IDs when all of us had real IDs we were there for our friends 22nd birthday.He walked off with her ID and we couldn?t even leave because he left the building with it. The other employees had to chase himdown to get it back, he came back and continued to scream at us. We were so scared that we almost called the cops. It was manicbehavior, imagine if he did that with a drunk man, there would be a physical fight, very dangerous he is lucky it was 3 smallgirls. We want to come again because we have always loved tin can but there is no way we can feel comfortable coming if he isworking, very sad we used to love tin can and we used to love Tyson. Read more
I was on an awesome party bus, enjoying my bar crawl with a crowd of about 15-35 people. I was approached by a man named Tyson... who quickly became friends with our entire group and persuaded us to patronize the can. It was not a mistake and I would runthat boy back at least a 100 times from now. All in all Tyson made my night, if not week. Read more

Tin Can Bar opened recently. Its nice place. It's got a lot of frat bar scene with games and plastic cups. College kids would... probobly enjoy this place. They dont have any drafts but only beers in cans. They have a lot of shots on menu. To be preciseabout 50. They also have card that tells you how many shots you have tried and if you finish it all, you get your photo on thewall. The staff is friendly especially Jake. The manager was also nice. This place can get busy on weekends. There isn't a lotof seating so, this place is more like a pitstop from downtown to Shakespeare/bells/old dog. You might not want to spend allnight here. Read more
Tin Can is the best interactive bar in Kalamazoo! Especially with a group of friends, enjoy playing beer pong, Jenga, and other... activities this bar has to offer. The drinks are cheap, shots are super cheap, and the age group varies depending on the time ofnight! I miss Tyson he was my favorite bouncer, but all the employees are great people and the owner even stops in to hangoutand interact with his regular customers. Read more
