The bartender was inattentive and rude when she did decide to wait on me after standing there several different times while she... smoked, or talked on her phone then to a regular. An older lady who was also very rude about me trying to obtain menus andchange to gamble for me and my friends that came to enjoy the afternoon together with lunch, keno & drinks and were unimpressedby both shifts being that they transitioned while we were finishing being ignored. 2 of the 4 ladies never received drinks,change, customer service nor ethical work candor at all. If I hadn't gone to bar to ask they wouldn't have even gotten to order.This was more than a bad day. We were all kind and all have service positions similar to this. We aren't regulars and alltriedto find a Way to make an excuse for the performance of staff.. we played whole time waiting for lunch still never offered drinkspaid for our meals. Honestly the most disappointing "Mexican" food in town. Their rice is yummy and portions are generous. The good review ends... there. I ordered a quesadilla with chicken, camerones a la diabla, and a carne asada burrito. The quesadilla is the worst I'veever paid money for. Half the tortilla didn't get any cheese. The shredded chicken was bone dry. The guacamole was included,which is nice, but it was inedible. It tasted like the avocados had either been frozen or were old. Very bitter and very littleto no salt. The camarones (shrimp) were overcooked and the "special" sauce was weirdly sweet, almost like a cross between shrimpcocktail sauce and ketchup. I would be shocked if they made that from scratch. The burrito is a huge portion but lacks flavor.The meat is also overcooked and dry. The sauce is also weirdly sweet. In summary, little flavor or bad flavor in most dishes.Overcooked, dry meat. If they cut their portions so they could afford to cook better tasting food, no one would complain. Inever write bad review but I'm sick of being duped into spending my hard earned money on dinner time after time because peoplerave about mediocre food. Restaurant side is always top notch. Friendly servers, good food, fast menu to plate times. This visit in particular was good... except my family got their food each at separate times and had already finished the eating by the time I even got my food. Theplating was worthy of snapping a pic and I think the inconsistency with our meals was on the shoulders of a newer waitress, whokilled it other than that lil hiccup. It also helps that ... The first thing I can stress being a local is to go to Casa Mexico there is better service and food. We started with good... service but after we got are main server the service went downhill fast. It was impossible to get the server to get us refills.The only time we were served was when we ordered and when she dropped off the food. Even then she missed so many parts of areorder. When we were finally ready to pay we had to flag down the waitress multiple times to get the bill. Even then we wanted tosplit the bill and we got snapback from the waitress saying that we would have to wait. I don?t mind waiting a couple of minutesbut we were forgotten about and it took over 15 minutes to get the bill back. We also had problems with the food where all ofthe orders were incorrect. Pretty consistent. The food is average, but we get the best server! She is awesome. They do have very tasty salsa.
Took the family here and had a wonderful meal. We tried a couple of burritos and they were AMAZING, huge and full of... goodness. Chips and salsa were also spectacular!!! Read more
We were craving Mexican and found this place. Friendly staff, not overrun with tourists and great food. Huge portions! The... huckleberry margarita was just what I needed after a long day of hiking. We liked it so much we went back the second night totry it again. Things to improve would be the salsa as it is very watery. Read more
