To begin, the food is really, really good. The whole order take out process though is kind of messed up. I made my order at the... till and the fellow quoted me half an hour or so for my order and I told him I?d wait. I noticed them placing orders on top ofthe oven to warm and casually paid attention. After the time elapsed, I walked up and they brought my order from on top theoven. It was there about ten or fifteen minutes. Great pizza! I got the bbq chicken. I usually don?t like bbq pizza, but this one was awesome. The sauce was like a mix of... marinara and bbq sauce and it was perfect. As a group of 4 coworkers, we came here for lunch. Our Server was friendly. We were seated right away for a late lunch on a... weekday. They have a fun selection of foods and craft beers. Among the table we got a Crab Rangoon Flatbread which wasinteresting but not for everyone, pepperoni Pizza which is a classic, Thai Pizza and hot wings, both of which were quitegood. This place was certainly worth the 20 min wait for my party of 8. The food was divine. The atmosphere was wonderful. The... service was professional. We got the Rancher pizza and I was blown away by the exquisite combination of toppings. Thedough/crust had some herbs in it that reminded me of my Mother's homemade herb rolls we had every Thanksgiving. Had my firstever poutine here. Yum! Read more

My family went to the Kalispell south Mackenzie River for dinner to have a casual celebration together. We were seated right... away to a clean table. Staff took our drink and appetizer order promptly. It took a little while to get someone to take our maindinner order. My complaint is the staff need to hold patrons accountable. The tables on both sides of us had unruly, extremelyloud children. Jumping up and down on the seats, climbing over the seat back into our booth, and the parents did essentiallynothing. Folks go out to eat, and fork over their earnings to eat a meal in a relatively calm surrounding environment. I'm notsaying the staff should try to be the "kid police," but something should be done. It doesn't matter if it's a loud adult, orchild...be considerate and make efforts to ensure an enjoyable meal for everyone. We paid for drinks and just left. Verydisappointing visit. This is one of those restaurants you find when traveling you wish you had back home. The restaurant is laid out, so your table... does not have to shout at each other. Small,.intimate booths vs large open concept. The music selection was also spot on withclassic 90's and early 2000's. The food was amazing to be blunt. The house salad came with pear, crushed pecans, and a choiceof dressing. The huckleberry salad was fresh and had real huckleberry. The artichoke appetizer was the only meh item as needed,something more to make it pop. The Buffalo Mac was great and wish I could get it again. Though the bread stick could have beenmade fresh, then store bought. Kids loves the cheese pizza and even liked the crust. Hopefully in time they will find their wayto California. Read more

Dining at Mackenzie River Pizza in Kalispell was warranted, we thought, due to the recommendations of past visitors. The decor... is nice and the atmosphere fairly quiet. We went to the hostess desk and were met by a rather unfriendly girl who spoke oneword, "Two?" and then sat us down without another word. She greeted everyone in the 45 minute period we were by the desk thesame way. But a shining star was our server, Contessia. She seemed to be bombarded with tables but she was friendly, happy, andvery pleasant. I ordered a Bloody Mary and I have to say it was in the top 5 worst Bloody Mary's I have ever had in my years. Icouldn't even finish it. My wife ordered the Caesar salad and it was prepared well and was tasty. I ordered the Wedge salad andit was enormous and very good. We had for our entrees, the Humble Pie pizza with Fontina, olive oil, and garlic as well as thePesto Linguine with chicken. I've had a lot of pizza from a lot of places. I'm not a local, my dad and uncle are. My dad swears by this place. Literally the... best pizza I've ever had. I don't have teeth, the thick crust was soft and tasted amazing. My wife got a wrap, she said it wasoutstanding. She almost always finds something wrong with the food, even if it's a minor thing, but had 0 complaints atall. The huckleberry lemonade drink had real huckleberries in it and was very good. The waitress we had was very helpful, superpolite, and friendly. The huckleberry cheesecake was also delicious. Out front is a moose statue made from several metalparts, cogs, wheels, and more. Great for pictures. Overall? 11/10 I'll hold all pizza places to a higher standard now. Read more
