We were in Kamloops in August for a swim meet for 4 days and we wanted to have a healthier option for our son instead of burgers... and fries. We tried Edo Japan at this location and, hands down, this one is far better than the locations in the lowermainland. The bento boxes and rice bowls were fresh and hearty. We ended up ordering take out from here all three nights thatwe were in Kamloops. We didn?t order the sushi so I can?t speak to that but the hot items we ordered were good and a upgrade totypical burgers and fries. Read more

Basic grocery store quality sushi?very small rolls with hardly any filling. No tuna on menu at all and a very limited boring... menu. We ordered 5 rolls and 2 platters. Most were missing ingredients. One roll?s crispy topping was beyond soggy. Won?t beback. Read more

I ordered California rolls via skip the dishes. To start with, they were sloppily made. They were falling apart as I tried to... pick them up and had hardly any substance to them. Then I tasted one piece and the rest of the roll went straight into thetrash. It was the worst sushi I've had in my life. It wasn't just not good. It tasted downright nasty. A nice clean Edo Japan restaurant to stop over in Kamloops.

I been to alot of locations across BC for Edo and this place by far has not only the best prepared food but they have always... been friendly and polite to there customers & coworkers. I have ate in a few times but usually get take out, and they have beenon the ball each time. They have always stacked the takeout bags with condiments, now that the covid thing is calming down theyare preping sushi daily again for a grab and go and discounting them hours before closing ( if there is any left ). I placed an order 2 months ago on skip. The order was great accept two bento boxes included sauce when they needed the hot sauce... on the side. They took my details at the time of order and offered me an in store credit to make up for it. I don?t live nearthe store so today when I was in the neighbourhood I decided to stop in and collect the credit they said I could pick up instore. Although they didn?t have record they honoured what I told them and were so kind and helpful. I would recommendsupporting the owners and the people that work here. It was an amazing experience. One of the finest and unexplored Japanese food in Kamloops. Very friendly staff n well managed store . Such great recipes with... super tasty food . I ordered sushi platter dynamite rolls which were extremely good n fresh ! The beef yakisoba with 2 scoopsof sause was a super hit of the day . I am coming back soon EDO !!!
