I got there about 15 mins before closing, and it takes a little while to cook (they make the food fresh) so i got it to go. -... saskatoon iced tea: delicious! flavorful without being overly sweet, or unnecessarily bitter like some iced teas around town.loved it. - salmon taco: obvious mexican influence, it's a taco after all. but the salmon was perfect, and everything was wellbalanced. - bannock: not what I'm familiar with, but tasty. sweet, slightly dense, and almost yeasty. it seemed baked, and I'mused to deep fried. it could just be that I am not familiar with the people whose recipe is being used (and I'm definitely notindigenous). 5/5: delicious! I love this place. I wish there were more indigenous businesses like this around Canada. The staff were very friendly & the... bannock was amazing. We tried the traditional, apple bannock bottoms, chocolate cherry, & smoreo?s(multiple visits lol). I willdefinitely make a dedicated stop here anytime I pass through. Read more

I got the lavender lemonade, bbq chicken salad, and the cinnamon twists. The Bannock here is SO good. it's the soft and fluffy... kind, different from my moms but still comforting. The lavender lemonade tastes accurate, not too herby like some lavenderflavours. Chicken bbq is nice and juicy, SUPER filling salad. I would def recommend coming here for the Bannock! The staff arefriendly and really pay attention and ensure you're not waiting too long. Read more

I have been coming to this establishment since it first opened and I can say conclusively that it is the best cafe in town. The... atmosphere is calming and always full of good vibes; the food is stupendous, house made, and crafted with love; the staff arenot only considerate, they go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience here. I have not made a review in 7 years, nor do I typically make them, however one was most certainly well overdue for this incredible business. If you have not alreadybeen here? Go. If you have been here? Go again. Haha Read more

I went to Kekuli Cafe on the 2nd day of their "soft opening" and was pleased with my experience. The staff were friendly and... happy to make recommendations. The service was efficient and the bannock was superb. The Saskatoon berry bannock (bottom rightin the picture) was my favourite. The savoury options were delicious as well, including an elk and cheese option (top left inpicture). Got a maple latte and the foam was wonderful. Would highly recommend trying this lovely cafe! What amazing food and service! You can't get their delicious bannock and berry offerings anywhere else. The staff and friendly,... enthusiastic, and super knowledgeable. An absolute delight to chat with. I was surprised at the diversity of menu offerings,it's absolutely delightful. You can find fusion foods here, light snacks and hearty lunch foods, as well as the advertisedbannock. They have a decent coffee selection, but this is much more than simply a cafe. They also have smoothies and teaofferings. In terms of accessibility, they have indoor and outdoor seating, and are wheelchair accessible (wheelchairs cannavigate the space easily, and there is room for them at the tables, though many power chairs may struggle to fit through thedoor). The Saskatoon berry bannock and smoothies are great! Try them! Bannock is bready and friend and absolutelydelicious. I'll be going a lot more to try out new menu items. I recommend being adventurous and trying something new eachtime. The staff is incredibly friendly and excited to see the Kamloops community and I think it's safe to say we are excitedtoo! Read more

Bannock is delicious stuff! Bready and fried tasting like funnel cake, but better. The Saskatoon Bannock was yummy, almost like... a donut but bannock. It tastes more real and slightly savory. The only drawback was perhaps they can strain the Bannock afterfrying it as some parts were still dripping with oil and my hands were quite greasy while eating it. But flavors were delicious.
