I'm not sure what it was about this place, the decrepit motel around it? Or the fact that they couldn't do a simple vegetable... pakora. I did the lunch buffet, and the batter on the pakora doesn't make sense? It was almost like a stale tempura batter. Thebutter sauce had to be most boring and bland sauce. The korma had an excess of ghee. Maybe the dinner buffet is better? Maybethe menu is better? I'm not sure why this restaurant is as highly rated as it is. It doesn't deserve to be. The curry beef wasbetter than I expected it to be, but I was surprised to find it. A few bright spots though, the rice pudding? Delicious. We were in Kamloops to visit our son and this restaurant was right across from our hotel. As soon as we walked in the doors we... were greeted by a wonderful young man and the incredible smells. I?ve tried quite a few Indian restaurants in Kamloops and this is by far my favourite. I?ve never had a negative experience with... dine in or take out. They always exceed my expectations and the food is just incredible. I also find the price reasonable whichis a bonus. Read more

Amazing hidden gem, this restaurant is family owned and operated and the food tastes as such. We could not stop talking about... how flavorful everything we ordered tasted. I have yet to go to a restaurant that was as hospitable as this one. They accommodated our late arrival and served us one of the... best tasting meals we have had. We have been to many Indian restaurants in the Kamloops area and this is our new #1 favourite.We highly recommend going to this location, not only for the scenic views while dining, but for the amazing hospitality andauthentic cuisine.
