Had worst experience here, we ordered soup and kebabs for starters and soup was so bad that we decided to not order anything... more. The soup was thick tawa gravy and nothing like soupy. The vegetables in it were not even cooked properly and we couldn'teven have it, had to return it. Kebabs were not juicy , mint chutney had no mint flavor, all in all - worst experience. If youdon't agree to me, just look at the picture and decide for yourself if you can call that dish as soup ! Highly overpriced placeas well. Not recommended. Read more
A MUST TRY if you're in the Kamloops area. Hands down the most phenomenal Indian food we have ever had. And the cocktails were... next level! If we lived in Kamloops, we would be here every day. We went and experienced the off menu Valentines dinner this year and were absolutely blown away. The combination of the... storytelling, the impeccable service and the almost too good for Kamloops food was perfection. Each course was a surprise, andpaired with a fresh, new-to-us cocktail. We got vegetable pakora to start and 2 lamb dishes for the meals. Everything was delicious, lamb was cooked perfectly. The craft... cocktails didn?t sound like something I would normally order but we tried anyways and they were great as well. The service wasunlike any other restaurant - we felt so welcomed and appreciated. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. My husband and I had dinner at Maurya?s last week, and it was truly excellent. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. A... real highlight was the wonderful cocktails. The bartender will check in with you about your palate and preferred flavours andwill tailor your chosen concoction specifically to your palate! This is a service I?ve never seen elsewhere - and it pays off,the cocktails are really out of this world. I started with a Tamarind Margarita. I was almost reluctant to try the CardamomDream, not being sure I would like it as much, but it was every bit as lovely in its own way. If you?re anywhere near Kamloops,Maurya?s is not to be missed!
