Went for dinner the night before my mom was scheduled for a procedure at the hospital. She was very stressed. Our server Dani... was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly and very personable. Made it a very special evening for mom. The food wasamazing. The floor supervisor (sorry didnt catch his name) checked on us several times. My husband’s favourite restaurant for years, and recently have became a favourite of mine. Delicious Lobster Oscar we always... get with a side of mashed. Yummy stuffed mushrooms, fresh Caesar salad, very delicious desserts. This location in particular hasgotten things just right. Every time we’re in city it’s a must that we get dinner from here. Went here for my birthday. The Steak I had was cook well done asked for medium didn't even taste like it was cooked in butter... with herbs its was just dry over cooked meat taste the mashed potatoes were soft and creamy like they're supposed to so theywere decent. The other vegetables had some strange sour sauce on them that ruined them. Restaurant was clean enough not tonotice too much. I Didnt have time to get anything redone. After being disappointed by a rib eye at another local restaurant, i read some reviews and decided to try Mr Mike's out. Got... their rib eye and no word of a lie, i havent had a steak that perfectly made at a restaurant, like ever. Even though it wasmedium (my preference) it was the juiciest tender ribeye i've had in months. I could NOT do better on my own grill. Everythingelse was good as well: service, pricing, recommendations. I will be back here multiple times over my visit to kamloops forsure... Caveat: it could be that i came at a non busy time (8:45pm) that they could afford extra care on the meal prep? Eitherway, this is a place i'll recommend to anyone i know coming to visit or pass through the city. Read more

Great place to eat and have a few drinks. I ate here a few times and was never disappointed. Today I had the shrimp tacos and... their own BIG Horn lager. The best shrimp tacos I ever had and the lager was just as great it comes in a chilled Stein. Lunch ordinner or belly up to the bar. Clean washrooms and a patio with an awesome atmosphere. Read more

I took my teenage son out for supper tonight. We had never been to this restaurant before, but I'd heard good things....my son... had the bacon Mike's burger. It got the thumbs up. I I had the shrimpin' sirloin. To be fair, I could dwell on what went wrongwith the steak (twice);however, sometimes when it's insanely busy (which it was) mistakes can happen. This restaurant gets a4*, not for the food, but for handling an epic disaster with AMAZING grace. The server was EXCEPTIONAL. (And believe me I do notsay that very often these days.) Not only did she anticipate our every need....she tried her best to fix the BIG problem...shenotified the powers at be to address it and make me as happy as a person possibly could be in that situation.
