Unfortunately we can’t speak to the food as we weren’t able to experience it. Found this place on Google Maps and it looked... like a sure thing… walked 1.5km to get there and help build up our appetite - only to find out it was closed. It appears asthough it’s still in business, but you may want to call ahead to confirm their open… no outdoor signage, and obviously thetimes listed on Google Maps is incorrect :( Read more
I had probably the worst meal that I can remember a few evenings ago. There was no choice but to inform the server that I was... not pleased. I also never complain because there has never been a meal that bad that I have been served. The menu advertisesthat they have the best fish and chips in town. I decided to test that comment by ordering the one piece halibut, even at thehigh price of $24. It was severely overcooked and I swear the one end was part of the tail, no meat, just burnt batter.Thickness at the meaty end was maybe 3/8" thick. It was cooked so badly that you couldn't tell it was halibut, and maybe itwasn't. The meal came with a 1/2 full small container of tarter and 1/4 of one slice of lemon, not nearly enough to garner adecent piece of fish. If I could give a 0 star I would, but it gets 1 star because the chips were okay. We were only therebecause my spouse won a free chicken sandwich on a promotional giveaway. Ordered delivery through skip. Didn’t get pop or gravy ordered… tried calling no one answered but then got a call back... moments later. They are hand delivering gravy pop plus two free pops! Amazing service. Food tastes homemade would highlyrecommend this eatery! Read more
I would like to give top marks, to Gerald, Theresa and the team at Papa G's. This is a restaurant where you get great food, at a... great price and nothing but the best of customer service. Great food, came in with my friends Richard and Maria and we got the Saskatchewan pizza to share between the three of us.
