Sego was a great experience. The atmosphere is warm with good lighting and light music. The staff were attentive and responsive.... And the food is awesome. Sego is a small plate experience restaurant. My wife and I shared 5 dishes plus dessert. This was veryfilling and we were starving from a full day of hiking. The cocktails were solid too. Certainly an great dinner place in Kanab. Read more

This place exceeded all expectations. The vibe is relaxed and classy, and the food/drinks were phenomenal. I had the duck lo... mein. The duck was cooked so perfectly that I felt like I was eating a nice steak. The asparagus was coated in this sauce thatwas extremely tasty. This was the perfect amount of food for one person, and I was able to admire the view outside! Read more

After browsing Yelp, this seemed like the best place to eat in Kanab. Then our tour guide and another local confirmed that, so... we had to try it. My husband and I shared: - Sego Mac - Scallops - Dan Dan Lo Mein - Charsiu - Artichoke & Foraged MushroomToast - Elote Fritters - "Grilled Cheese" - Likelike (mocktail) - Banana Bread Pudding This is the kind of restaurant Iwouldn't expect to find in a small tourist town. It was an incredible meal. We ordered entirely too much food for two people, but we couldn't narrow it down any more. If I had to pick, I'd say my favorites were the Sego Mac, the Artichoke & ForagedMushroom Toast, and the "Grilled Cheese". I don't think you can really go wrong with anything on the menu. The only thing Iwouldn't get again is the scallops. They weren't bad, but they were a bit chewy (not as smooth as butter like I would want). Wemade a reservation for 5pm on a weekday. It was the only one left, but I don't think a reservation was necessary at that timesince it was pretty empty. I would guess that's not the case later in the evening. This spot is a must try in Kanab in myopinion. Read more

My 50th birthday dinner from my daughter the first night in Kanab, she had made reservations 1 week in advance. Great decision... she made too, the food was top notch and some of the best 5 star dining we've done! We had the Honey bootlegger and Oldfashioned, Baked brie toast, Beet garden fare and Duck lo main and Banana bread pudding. We were lucky enough to meet the chefand he's an amazing man, our server and service was great. This was our first trip from Phoenix, Arizona and as you can seewe'll be back as I said our first trip!
