The staff are really friendly and the ambiance is great. The food is good but the prices a bit steep. But then again you pay for... the ambiance. The staff is quite attentive and accommodating. I was disappointed that they don't any veggie burger optionanymore. Read more

Baton Rouge has consistently excelled with both their food (especially grilled menu items) and service. The restaurant's decor... creates a warm and cozy atmosphere, is inviting and clean. I definitely recommend the ribs here, the sauce is so well balanced,both smoky, sweet and salty and caramelized to perfection. The fries are shoestring and are lightly tossed in salt and pepperand come piping hot. I also had a ceasar which is not pictured. The ceasar was a bit too spicy for me and came with a celerystalk which was a bit too tough and not the freshest. Could definitely be improved but I'm still giving 5* for the excellentexperience. It has been a very long time since we visited Baton Rouge! Service was super friendly and accommodating but food was so so We... started with fried shrimp that was tasty and good but our mains were so so.. I got the tuna bowl, they put wild rice pilafinstead of the sushi rice which doesn?t fit well. Update: I was contacted by the establishment and they took my review seriously. I have changed my rating from a 2 to a 4, but... would still like to leave my initial experience here for future reference. Not worth the bill! I have never written a negativereview before but this place warrants it. Ordered two of the more expensive meals on the menu and neither steak was worthanything close to that price, terrible cuts of meat, very fatty. The surf and turf came with a strip loin which was very thickand still somehow overcooked. I would have mentioned it at the restaurant but the waitress never asked how the mealswere. Another small thing but that didn't end my meal well was that I was out with my husband and the waitress blatantly put thecheck down in front of him and when I said I was paying she asked if it was a special occasion, I said very politely that no Ipay for half of everything. Again a very small issue that would have never bothered me on its own but with everything else itmade for an unpleasant experience. Read more
